Tevez Posted 7 January 2008 Posted 7 January 2008 Wouldn't mind Sinclair... Not the Trevor or Frank kind.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Why don't we try a cheeky bid for Richard Chaplow

Kirky Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Martin 'Tiny' Taylor from Birmingham, he's a class centre back and i would be very happy with him to replace McAuley
General Smuts Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Martin 'Tiny' Taylor from Birmingham, he's a class centre back and i would be very happy with him to replace McAuley You just want him to come here to piss of Andrew the Norwich fan
teblin Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I think the next position we need to strengthen is left back. Sheehan is too slow, the fact he get booked in almost every game proves that and mattock isn't ready. If weso stays fit Clemence and weso is a good centre mid though we do need one more at least for centre mid.
Babylon Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Sign Oakley and get rid of Carl Cort... it'll never happen though. Hang on!!!!!
Thracian Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I think the next position we need to strengthen is left back. Sheehan is too slow, the fact he get booked in almost every game proves that and mattock isn't ready. If weso stays fit Clemence and weso is a good centre mid though we do need one more at least for centre mid. Here we go again. Swop a bloke who has already been officially involved with six goals but has really created stacks of chances and who ought to now be able to create more with a theoretically much better side around him, for a workhorse who will tackle faster and create sod all. And while Mattock might not be quite ready, anyone watching him on Wednesday would have to wonder why. I've never seen him play like that at any level and I've never seen previous first teamers, like Maybury, Kenton or Stearman, drop down a level and play like that. I've never seriously thought of Mattock as an attacker but he sure attacked in that match and, with better shooting could/should have had a hat-trick. The big difference was his urgency. I'm not sure too many left-backs would relish trying to keep Mattock out of the side for three years but we'll see. Sheehan's been linked with Leeds and I can well imagine him moving soon. I don't think he's got long left on his contract and I don't think he's especially appreciated here because he's simply not the headless chicken type of defender that many folk seem to love. If would take someone like Nils years to make the goals/assists/chances Sheehan's been responsible for this season but, given the choice, people would still prefer Nils even though our defence was never any tighter when he was in it than since Sheehan's been involved.
Super Arj Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Dong Fang Zhu - £10.50 sign him we'll be in the Champions League in 3 years
Stevosevic Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 A few Sunderland players have been made available for transfer. I think we should go for Ian Harte.
Simi Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 A few Sunderland players have been made available for transfer.I think we should go for Ian Harte. Connoly, Kavanagh, Harte, Wallace and Wright I think they were. Wallace would be good signing, although there were rumours he'd been on cocaine.
lildave3 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Harte or Wallace would be good signings for us imo.
LCFC2007 Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I would like to see: Jason Koumas Michael Mifsud Marton Fulop Ricardo Fuller Tony Capaldi Arjan De Zeeuw
ronnup Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I would like to see:Jason Koumas Michael Mifsud Marton Fulop Ricardo Fuller Tony Capaldi Arjan De Zeeuw Why do people think we could get Koumas when he went to his current club for 5.5 million.
scinnell Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 get marlon harewwod signed NOW ollie on loan till end of season. him and howard will be a good striker pair
MikeyT Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I would like to see:Jason Koumas Michael Mifsud Marton Fulop Ricardo Fuller Tony Capaldi Arjan De Zeeuw Michael Mifsud??? Not based on how he played yesterday against us! Jason Koumas will be too expensive, and although Fuller has scored like 12 goals so far this season, still dont really rate him!
WetFlannel Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 If anyone mentions anymore strikers in here, I will lose the will to live
