Estonia v England

Even thinking about not winning here amazes me. Estonia are a team who have lost six of their six games and not scored a single goal.

Call me arrogant, but we won't just win, we'll batter them.

0-6.

Owen, Beckham, Gerrard 2, Crouch, Terry

3-0

Gerrard, Rooney, Owen to score. Or if not Rooney then Beckham.

Is Rooney not banned :dunno:

1-0 Laboured win.

Frank Lampard will have another shocker and Terry Butcher will launch a full scale defence of Lampard whilst calling for Beckhams head.

The goal will also be an own goal.

I predict:

McClaren to hail the performance as a great demonstration of the team-spirit within the England camp despite the boos echoing around the stadium at full-time.

McClaren to hail the performance of David Beckham as that of a player at the top of his game despite stats amply demonstrating his passes being worthless and him having no penetration on the wing.

McClaren to attack (in a smiling manner) the members of the media that have hidden agendas and will now need to re-write their headlines (which they won't because of a dire performance (again)).

Fifteen mentions on 5live of the need to rest Lamperd because he has "nothing left in the engine"

A sea-change in opinion about the league in the USA, playing it as physical and demanding, in an effort to talk up Beckham's pointless inclusion in future squads.

A realisation that even if McClaren is booted out - England is a tiny nation devoid of world class players but pumped up on its own self-importance and supporters blinkered opinion of their place in the football world....

Its just a matter of time before Mclaren starts saying 'Well Franks a smashing lad he's had a bit of a bad game and he's picked himself up and now he's having a laugh in the shower with John Terry, it shows great team spirit and we will be going into our next game against Andorra hoping to get something because we know they are a strong side who can cause us problems.'

Estonia aren't actually that bad, sort of, well they're much better than Andorra. Come the end of the qualifying campaign they'll have a few points on the board.

It really is a massive game tonight but I don't see us slipping up even with nob head in charge. If we do he'll be gone and we'll be in a right mess in terms of qualifying.

Other games tonight

Andorra v Israel

Croatia v Russia

1 Croatia 6 5 1 0 16 4 12 16

2 Israel 7 4 2 1 15 7 8 14

3 Russia 6 4 2 0 11 1 10 14

4 England 6 3 2 1 9 2 7 11

5 FYR Macedonia 7 2 1 4 6 7 -1 7

6 Estonia 6 0 0 6 0 11 -11 0

7 Andorra 6 0 0 6 1 26 -25 0

We had a good performance against Andorra and a tremendous performance against Brazil

Which ****ing game was he at - because it sure as shit isn't the same miserable, clueless bore-draw that I paid money to see? :dunno:

He talks like a politician - a cnut of a politician...as if constant repetition of a lie will make it become the truth.

My word.

We were dire against Andorra it took us 45 minutes to score past a team that are about as good as Weston Super Mare.

And we were pretty average against Brazil, well done Steve.

Crouch will score, assuming he's picked, though nothing surprises me where his selection is concerned.

But I'm off to an auction. It holds far more interest than watching any more shit from McLaren - especially against the sort of team that would struggle to win Divison One.

By not supporting him at least I'm not encouraging his presence any longer than necessary.
