Babylon Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Andy Cole http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=8...ytoid=529036351
Blue Bob Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Excellent player in his day but not anymore. Hasnt got the pace to frighten defences anymore. I saw Steve Claridge in Mobius on Saturday but that doesnt mean were going to sign him either!
MPH Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Excellent player in his day but not anymore. Hasnt got the pace to frighten defences anymore.I saw Steve Claridge in Mobius on Saturday but that doesnt mean were going to sign him either! well i dont have a clue how i feel about this one at all....
The Reverend Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Wouldnt have a problem with this at all. We all saw how good he was against Brum. He showed he was a class above that night so why not? No dount the OAP Brigade will be out in force trying to stop this one happening.
JoeyB Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Good finisher wouldn't mind seeing him here! cat be worse than Elvis or MDV
Tommeh Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Can't see it happening, but would be a fantastic signing if it does. Was brilliant against us for Brum and his goalscoring record whereever he's been speaks for itself. Top player.
The Reverend Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Good finisher wouldn't mind seeing him here!cat be worse than Elvis or MDV What? I cant believe people are comparing this bloke to Elvis and MDV! When hes 50 he'd still be a better footballer than those two! He has class and is a winner - just look at his medals - he's won everything!
Jack Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 it'll never happen but if it did would be amazing he's still a touch of class
Stevosevic Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Good finisher wouldn't mind seeing him here!cat be worse than Elvis or MDV You think!
mancunianfox Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 No thanks. His scoring record over the last five years has been one in three (at best) and I don't see what he has to offer now that his pace has gone.
Stevosevic Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 No thanks. His scoring record over the last five years has been one in three (at best) and I don't see what he has to offer now that his pace has gone. His intelligence, knowledge, experience and will still score goals. He would add a touch of class to the present side. It wont happen though, that story is tosh.
Jack Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 one in three more than any players that we've had in the last 5 years. Get him in !

It wont happen though, that story is tosh. I'm sure he could score goals for us but I think that we need to be investing in players and I don't think Cole represents much of an investment.
Soar Fox Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 It would be a good signing but really can't see it happening. He would probaly go somewere like Sunderland or Derby
The People's Hero Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Those of you comparing Andy Cole to Elvis Hammond should hang your heads in shame and just give up taking any interest in football at all.
Tubes Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 im glad all the horsefield rumours have dried up because we were going to try and sign him at one stage wasnt we? andy cole will never come here
Stevosevic Posted 7 June 2007 Posted 7 June 2007 Didn't Steve Bruce say he wont be with Birmingham next year because they can't afford his wages? I doubt we can if they can't.
