Nationwider Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 This is unconfirmed, but my man on the inside says the mystery man is none other than Dennis Rodman. He's a Mandaric signing, rather than an Allen one.
Lets Be having You Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 This is unconfirmed, but my man on the inside says the mystery man is none other than Dennis Rodman. He's a Mandaric signing, rather than an Allen one. Dennis Keith Rodman (born May 13, 1961, in Trenton, New Jersey) is a professional basketball player best known for his defensive and rebounding ability, leading the National Basketball Association in rebounds per game for a record seven consecutive years and earning NBA All-Defensive First Team honors seven times, along with five NBA Championships (1989, 1990, 1996, 1997, 1998). He is the all-time leader in rebound rate and is generally regarded as one of the greatest rebounders of all-time. He is also well-known for his controversial antics on and off the court. He has been featured in several television and film roles. Well we will have some height at the back now

Lillehamring Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 Just Found this on BBC Radio 5 Live- 606 siteDon't know how true but interesting nonetheless As you all know, my mole within the hallowed grounds of the CrispBowl - Gary Coatsworth, has been reasonably quiet of late. However, Gary has just returned from his bi-annual holiday in Rhyl (he had a lovely time, the weather was temperate and he met a pleasant young lady from the Wirral) and i've had an extensive chat with him on MSN. So here is what Gary has to say: Trevor Sinclair - Came in for a medical yesterday but failed, after minimal games for Man City. Not sure if he can take it again like Carl Cort did. Frode Kippe - Came in for his medical today. At least Gary assumes it was Frode as he had ring that made him disappear and a load of midget mates....sorry , no Gary assumes it was him because he was 6'5 and Scandinavian. Mystery Man - Another massive black lad at about 6'3. Didn't speak much (foreign?), another medical. I hope that this goes some way in assuaging your incessant thirst for transfer revelations. unlike, jimmy neilsen -

Stevosevic Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...p;channel=& Leicester City manager Martin Allen has told Skysports.com he will remain tight-lipped over rumours suggesting there is a deal in place to sign former Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair. The 34-year-old is on the lookout for a new club after departing Eastlands at the end of last season, but the new Foxes boss insists the club are scouring far and wide for potential signings with a number of players potentially in the frame. Having already landed Carl Cort from Wolves, The Foxes have also been at the centre of speculation surrounding Sinclair, Southampton striker Leon Best and Allen's former Milton Keynes Dons front man Izale McLeod. "It would be impolite of me to show my cards, but of course there are a number of players we have been linked with and there are a number of ongoing discussions," Allen said. City chairman Milan Mandaric is thought to have opened up a number of overseas transfer avenues for his new manager, and Allen is keen to explore those options. "We want to give fans the thirst for the new season, and that comes when they can see an exciting team being assembled, whether those players are from the Premiership, lower down the football ladder, or abroad," he added. "We are looking everywhere and there is a lot more searching to do."
Gené and Tonic Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 told them he will remain tight lipped? odd phrase
dandannieldanok Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 Hellings? Possibly, although from the picture on the OS I wouldn't say he looked massive.
