Poofster Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Alright! Hossein Kaabi (at times also spelt Kaebi) was born 23 September 1985 (21 years old.) He started playing in the Iranian National Team when he was 16. This started when he caught the eye of the U-17 coach and then the senior coach saw him and was impressed by him. He has played in the UAE League and the Iranian League. He usually plays right back in the National Team but he has been used as a right forward and also a right midfielder and I've seen him both times and he has been AMAZING! Whenever he plays right back he usually runs up like crazy and has gotten many assists that way. He has very accurate passes and ocasionally good shots at goal. He had a trial with Wolverhampton in 2003 but for some reason they did not accept him. Recently, he has had connections with Leeds Utd, Tottenham, Wigan and obviously Leicester. However, it looks like he will either choose Wigan or Leicester. This guy performed amazing in the World Cup 2006. He had to deal with both Figo and Christiano Ronaldo which I'm sure both of you know. Whenever he played against them he either took them down or stole the ball from those guys and had no fear doing so. He plays very hard in crucial matches and therefore if he signs with Leicester I doubt you guys are going to be disappointed. Despite what is said about him falling down too often, don't listen to that. Whenever players foul him, he barely complains and gets cards. He only gets cards seldom and that is when a REALLY good player is playing against him. He is a very fast winger and will likely get many assists. I have some videos of him and I will try and upload them if I can. If you want anything else about htis guy dont hesitate to ask.

And if he does indeed sign you guys will get ALOT and I mean it, ALOT of fans. Pretty much all Iranians in England will support you, same with people in Iran. I was told in a phone call last night he was with dave rennie and it was a pre-signing medical, although as babylon might have explained my source knows nothing about football at all. I'm pretty confident he will sign though.

But this really seems like it will be that one signing every club would be delighted with. If we sign him i just hope we get promoted as if he is a success and we dont go up he might get noticed by some big teams ...
