MPH Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 It would be brilliant for us if Kaebi signed...Looking on youtube, and just googling his name shows how good many people think he is... "Ka'abi won his first cap having just turned 16, and almost half a century of caps that he has won since is a testament to the unbelievable talent of this prodigiously gifted 21-year old wonderkid. An attacking midfielder for his club team, in the national team he plays right wing-back and is well known for his devastating runs scything the opponents defence, and inconceivable tricks on the ball" "In 2004, Kaebi was named amongst World Soccer Magazine's Top 10 most promising players." im not getting somthing..... if he is so good, AND he is available on a free transfer.... why is it just us and Wigan are after him? im NOT saying he isnt good.. you dont get 54 caps by the age of 21 for no reason... its just somthing isnt adding up..

Well if he's got 54 caps by the age of 21, it surely suggests he's away on international duty a friggin' lot! Maybe that's got something to do with it...

TheBlinding Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Wigan have signed Valencia on loan for another season, hopefully this will cool their interest a bit. They've already got Boyce, Melchiot, Taylor, Cotterill and now Valencia down the right hand side.

Ric Flair Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 I believe the name for a collective of planks is a herd of planks. I thought it was Plonkers?
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 I thought it was Plonkers? Nah plonkers isn't a actually a correct techincal term when put into such a context as the one you describe. Plankers maybe.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Kaebi was back today for a pre-signing medical. Oh dear. I appear to have soiled myself. http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=8...ytoid=528795800
Joe. Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Kaebi was back today for a pre-signing medical. Did you go down yourself are see him? EDIT: I see now it was from a source.
Babylon Posted 4 July 2007 Author Posted 4 July 2007 Did you go down yourself are see him? No the link above goes to a post by my mate who gave me the info. He knows someone who works there and gave me the names originally. Edit to say: remember Wigan are also said to be interested so it's not cast Iron. He was defo there though.
Joe. Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 No the link above goes to a post by my mate who gave me the info. He knows someone who works there and gave me the names originally. Nice. I hope your source is right. This is actually a potential signing I'm genuinely excited about.
Joe. Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Out of interest, why was he released from his previous club?
Brenfox Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Great news if this is true. Babylon was right before so barring a late intervention from Wigan its a done deal.
Cheese Me Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Kaebi was back today for a pre-signing medical. Really hope that is true. Funny, I honestly know nothing about the player other than what I've read on here but the hype has got me really excited.
