I thought I saw Hughes earlier but might have been mistaken and he certainly wasn't with the first teamers.

Well that's the important thing!

Were the Under 18s training in the same area?

No. I didn't even see the Under-18's training.

Oh and one funny thing... Elvis was told to collect the bibs at the end of the morning session lol

There just to make the numbers up hopefully.

Thats probably where the missing players were. Hughes, Maybury and probably Morfaw :dunno:

Are they messy eaters?

Do they have pictures on an LCFC one, perhaps they'll have some in the shop.

Or maybe they've got pictures on like these:

Allen can give them out depending on behaviour

The Elephant for those that forgot about training, the mouse for being to quiet, the piggy one for leaving their kit all around, an a donkey for, well that's obvious.

You're in good company I suppose. There really aren't many of us left. :(

Not of Elvis anyway.

You might be the only one Thrac.

I can't say I'm a fan of Elvis but I don't think he's the worst player we have by any means.

There's too many people that have jumped on an "Oh Elvis is our shittest player" bandwagon and it's kind of annoying.

Not a fan? When we first got there you were only looking for Elvis :P

That's because the guy's clearly a genius.

Oh Ok I'll admit it, I'm a fan.

The training ground is closed tomorrow because there's two practice matches being played at the ground against Rushden and Kettering.

Well in the 11 am kick off, we won 4-1. Hume, Gradel, McAuley and 'someone else' got the goals according to Ched.

I bet there will be an Allen Update sometime this evening giving us the stats

Hume and McAuley's goals will be proof of their value to the first team, Gradel's won't count because it was scored in shit football.:D

Seriously a good early sign that we're looking to score goals.

Im glad Gradel scored it will allow him to be noticed more and when its on the OS he will perhaps get some well earned recognition from those who aren't fully aware of him. Judging by only Newton being a firm right sided winger who we have signed Gradel could have a fairly big part to play next season, especially when considering Allen's comments about he doesn't care about big names he will pick who is performing the best in training.

He'll certainly earn my respect if he sticks to that comment.

Hume got two goals in the Kettering game and Lisbee scored in the 1-1 draw against Rushden according to the Mercury.

Starting 11 was.

Nielsen

Chambers

McAuley

N'Gotty

Mattock

Gradel

Kishishev

Weso

Porter

Hammond

De Vries

As LD3 mentioned Gradel, McAuley and Hume got the goals.

Max Gradel was fantastic. Everytime he got the ball he did something useful with it, whether it was crossing it, or taking somone on. He played really well. Kishishev looked a class act in the centre and never gave up. Weso looked a good partner for him as well.

What has been said about De Vries is also true, he's working really hard at the moment and deserved a goal. Hammond however ? :@. All that needs to be said.

For the second half of the game, Hume and Fryatt were up front, Hume worked hard as always and put himself about. Hellings looks decent, but picked up an injury early on.
