Chelve84 Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Just been down the training ground, expecting Martin Allen to be kicking arse, But unfortunatley they wasn't training and they are not letting fans in!. I wonder why this is? Maybe just staff going through training plans for pre-season Maybe potential new signings having medicals or maybe Martin Allen meeting the players for the 1st time
Raj Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 They are 'all getting to know each other'...Oi.OI nudge nudge wink wink say no more!!!!
teblin Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Maybe he's not happy that the players haven't been signed
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Wow. I actually made a good decision in my life. Good job I didn't trek all the way up there to be turned away. Will have to email them to see if it's worth bothering with tomorrow.
Ric Flair Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Maybe his daughter Lily has been caught on the glue again (allegedly)

mancunianfox Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 For a man into communication MA's had precious little to say about this. Maybe thats because he is busy? I think establishing communication with the fans like Allen has puts him in an unnessacarily difficult position because once you start to do it people begin to expect it.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Office/backroom staff back today, players tomorrow
Daggers Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 For a man into communication MA's had precious little to say about this. Yea - fooking sort it out Allen. I demand you waste more time dicking about telling people where they are and aren't allowed to go. That's what is important. </exasperation> </eyes2heaven>
Geo V Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Apparetly he was last seen nailing down Rab Douglas and Elvis Hammond to some board for shootng practice. He has threatened to jump into a nearby river if MM doesnt sign Toddy and Job today to take the number of strikers on our books into double figures
DB11 Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I hope it is because players are having medicals because the transfer front has been a bit quiet recently
Jonbluefox9 Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Carl Cort pulled up, holding his back, after about 30 minutes of training today. He stayed out for a little longer before heading back to the changing rooms well over an hour before any of the other players. It didn't look like a serious injury but shows that he has a way to go before he's fit again. I'm more worried about him after today than I was before.
Leonisco Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 His arse is the size of a minibus. Surely can't be bigger than Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's?
Daggers Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 His arse is the size of a minibus. Gives Elvis something to aim at then
Tubes Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Gives Elvis something to aim at then you know he will still miss
Blue Bob Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 His arse is the size of a minibus. Yeah I have the same problem but when you have a big peg you need a big mallet to knock it in
Bluefoxtim Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Surely can't be bigger than Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's? Or Nathan Blake's?
Leonisco Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Yeah I have the same problem but when you have a big peg you need a big mallet to knock it in
