Anish Posted 13 August 2007 Share Posted 13 August 2007 I was appalled that, on the first day of the season no less, the mega-store had run out of replica shirts even before kick-off. Unbelievable. What kind of fools run the club? Surely they should've known that there was going to be a lot of supporters, all optimistic about the game and the season, who would want to purchase the home shirt? They could've raked in £thousands if they had the kit, I'm sure. I for one, as a foxile, won't get the opportunity to go down to the megastore every week to buy the home shirt - and I'm sure there's many others like me. And I'd rather buy after having tried it on (before somebody says buy it online). Piss poor management all round.

RowlattsFox Posted 13 August 2007 Share Posted 13 August 2007 I brought the away shirt today and there was a sign saying there will be no short-sleeve home shirts until the Watford game.

It seems like it is piss poor management to run out of shirts on a match day but I would just write to the club and let the powers that be know what a silly situation they got themselves in. I'm not sure that the club itself is to blame, just some inadequate jobs worths who fooked up! The life span on the shirt is 2 years mate so Im sure if you buy it in the next few weeks you`ll still get maximum use of it!

Marcoos Posted 14 August 2007 Share Posted 14 August 2007 I went down to the megastore yesterday to buy an away shirt for my daughters 5th birthday - the smallest size they have is for 6-7 year olds (but the sizes are way off and would realistically fit 8 or 9 year olds. What kind of f**kwits launch a new kit without the full range being available? Symptamatic of what I expect from my club. You can change all aspects of your life but not your club and it is lucky for them this is true
scrivins2 Posted 14 August 2007 Share Posted 14 August 2007 it's stupid I walked to the walkers from the town centre to find out i had to walk straight back because they had no home shirts, although I did see Jimmy Nielson, MM and Hasslebaink with his agent.
