He's going isn't he

fook sake Milan.

If MM gets rid of Allen then I will apply to the courts to get MM sectioned, 'cos he must be insane.

The Sunday Times carries a story (sourced from NoW) that MA will be sacked this week following a series of rows with MM and Warnock is the favourite to succeed him

I hope he does go I would be much happier with Paul Jewel.

Poor reply. I'm happy with MA at the moment. :)

If MA goes, we need experience and Jim Smith would be perfect. :|

funny you say that on the way to the watford game i was suggesting we should get jim smith as allens right hand man he was responsible for derby managing to get a good team in the 90's & was h redknapps right hand man for a while he would be able to pass on some valuable knowledge to allen & i think it would be an ideal partnership anyone? :dunno:

Im sure Jim has plenty fo experience as a coach and must have vast knowledge but something tells me he may be a little too old school.

no more so than harry redknapp methinks :dunno:

Oxford should have walked the Conference last season. The fact they didn't suggests Smith may have passed his sell-by date.

And as an ex-sheep, he'd probably be even less welcome than N**l W*****k!

They were walking it until their squad was decimated by injuries. However, there have been rumours that Jim falls out with his players rather more often than is healthy.

As a manager I would have thought that Redknapp has moved with the times and developed methods in his management. Good old Jim seems like a lovely fella, an ideal granddad who you would find occasionally pi$$ himself at Xmas to the annoyance of Gran but as a number 2, I'm not sure if he is knows enough about todays footballers to be able to be that strong number 2.

I reckon it's all bullshit. There's probably nothing going on at all.

You may be right, but part of the problem is that our chairman is both a drama queen and a publicity ho.

In his own warped way, he probably thinks this speculation is healthy as it keeps his club in the headlines.

Whether Martin Allen and the playing/coaching staff share this opinion is another matter entirely.

Milan saved this club and I thank him for that but Milan needs to come out and make a statement about this saga whether its true or false and actually gives us some quotes or he risks losing some fans IMO.

Agree and Agree, part of the reason i don't put much store in the "Allen for the sack" story is that i trust Milan as a "football man" to not act hastily (i mean he kept K*lly for long enough!), but he does need to kill this story IMHO and IIRC he's already come out and said it's baloney... but its the "silly season " and i think journos are on the look out for the first managerial scalp and have put "Leicester = high expectations", an "unspectaluar start to the season" and "Milan the meddler" and come up with "Allen for the sack", no doubt based on some murmurs within the club but i dont reckon it's nearly as serious as some of the redtops would have us believe.

Remember how many times during the O'Neill years did we see articles stating he was "definitely" on his way to Everton, Leeds or wherever?

The papers, especially the tabloids, have space to fill and don't give a monkey's what they fill it with.

Getting rid would be a lot more trouble to Mandaric than it's worth. And he must know that.

But is it a coincidence that these "stories" suddenly resurface two days before a big cup match? I suspect not, especially as the scum are known to have a number of media contacts..

You cudda at least proofread it

I think in light of this managerial discussion reaching the television audience, Mandaric really needs to come out and back Allen. He'd be a prize tit to sack him.

I did proof it. This is the version I copied before I made typo corrections and messed around with it a bit.

Should really have copied the text after doing that but completely forgot.

Ah fair. Might send it meself, would certainly send a message if they were emailed the exact same thing several times.

Martin Allen was excellent yesterday. He was getting the crowd going and getting a response from them (Good Stuff :scarf:)

I hope he dosent get sacked this week, I think he'll do a good job with Leicester City.

Ps: I have the second goal on camera, I'll upload it to youtube.

The man is a fookin' beast. He's relentless on the touchline.

I reckon MM and MA are fine. The JFH story was an easy thing for the newspapers to latch on to.

I'm probably wrong.

I hope you're right. I think most of us like to think you are right. Because it is just crap what the media are speculating.

I have e-mailed this message to Milan Mandaric ([email protected]) and I want you do do likewise:

May I just say that I feel the current state of affairs is more than a little worying.

Mr Mandaric, if you appointed Martin Allen to be manager of Leicester City you must give him the opportunity to actually manage my great football club. I have been here long before both of you came here and I will be here most likely long after both of you have gone. What is important in the meantime is that we have a sustained period of stability and growth. Martin Allen has been apointed to do that job. Not for one game. Not for three of four games. But for the long haul. He is the manager and he should pick the players that he wants and build the team in the way that he sees fit. If he should not be doing this then you have clearly appointed the wrong man for the job and that is probably why I am seeing media links with yes men like Glen Roder. I'm sure that Glen is a very nice man but I do not want him anywhere near my club. He oversaw the demise of West Ham and the Stagnation of Newcastle United. for him to even be linked to us should be an embarresment to you Mr Mandaric. You have picked your manager and you should stand by him.

I have to say well done to Martin Allen. I can see the passion and commitment coming back into my club. I can see the enthusiasm of the players and their willingness to try their very best. I can see your enthusiasm and it is a wonderful wonderful thing. It is contagious and spreading throughout the club. I want to see you do your job and I want to see you given a fair chance to do that job. You should not have players imposed on you like Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink. It is your job to manage the football team and your job to sign the players. You do not tell anyone how to go about the day to day running of the fooball club and neither should they tell you who to sign. I have to say this because I feel that it is vitally important.

In a nutshell you must both work together. As I said above I will always be here and this will always be my club and the best thing for the club is if you work together. Martin should be allowed to build and he should be given a number of years to do that. I never EVER want to switch on my television to catch those goals again to see someone like Glen Roder on goals on sunday commenting that nothing has been confirmed YET with regards to the possibility of him being manager of my club. MARTIN ALLEN IS THE MANAGER! We have an EXCELLENT manager.

Mr Mandaric if you foolishly act in haste now you will be left to repent your mistake at your leisure.

The people want consolidation and growth. They want Martin Allen to oversee this.

Regards,

Irrespective of whether or not this is deleted instantly I felt it important to at least try and get my point across. It is better to try then to do nothing and fail. My e-mail alone can be ignored but if we all speak up we will be very hard to ignore.

Lets say what we want!

is that the rigt email address cause when i sent it the postmaster said it had failed to deliver my email

Radio Leic John Sinclair, just said he is off to press conference with MA today, was this just a slip of the tongue? Did he just mean a general interview?
