The Sunday Times carries a story (sourced from NoW) that MA will be sacked this week following a series of rows with MM and Warnock is the favourite to succeed him

what you mean like praise us for a fantastic performance, praise the players and manager for getting it spot on!!

mention the fact that the fans were singing Allens name throughout the game especially towards the end.

to obvious mate and doesn't sell papers!!

Rowing keeps you honest and on your toes..

Having said that, those two could argue with anyone. It will all end in tears. But hopefully after a good few years of progress here.

Rowing keeps you moving up the river! ;)

If it's true it's a joke on the clubs behalf, how can you sack MA now?

If it's not true then it's a joke on the medias behalf.

Either way, BORING!!

Roeder actually sounded interested in the job when questioned about it on Goals on Sunday. :|

Yeah he did, surprising to hear a program take it so seriously. They described our win as a stay of execution for MA. BS imo.

What a load of shite!!!

I know MM has a reputation as being a bit bonkers but I doubt he is daft enough to get rid of a manager who's side have just beaten one of the sides tipped not only for promotion but to win the league, by a 4-1 scoreline.

There maybe a bit of a rift behind the scenes, MM may not agree with some of MA training tactics but he will certainly be thinking that if we can win 4-1 against Watford our best result since god knowns when then he must be prepared to sit back and watch.

I appreciate that it was a bank holiday weekend but 22,000 is hardly the crowd MM would want. I believe some of that was on the back of the Blackpool result. Next home game I would expect a far bigger crowd - especially if we get a decent result at Plymouth. That will be the a bigger influence on MM than handing out Mars bars on the training ground.

So would any out of work manager and many with a job.

I have to say that the things I miss most about Allen is his willingness to keep everyone informed with what's going on a frequent and regular basis and his close rapport with the fans.

Ince, on the other hand, is the complete opposite, he doesn't do any interviews or updates at all. Nothing on the web site, nothing in the local papers - in fact nothing at all really.

It's quite bizarre that our assistant manager Ray Mathias does all of the team training and prematch warm-ups, all of the interviews and updates and is the one on his feet shouting from the technical area throughout the match while Ince doesn't move once from the bench.

It makes you wonder that if Ince did leave they could give the managers job to Mathias as he seems to be running the team anyway.

I have e-mailed this message to Milan Mandaric ([email protected]) and I want you do do likewise:

May I just say that I feel the current state of affairs is more than a little worying.

Mr Mandaric, if you appointed Martin Allen to be manager of Leicester City you must give him the opportunity to actually manage my great football club. I have been here long before both of you came here and I will be here most likely long after both of you have gone. What is important in the meantime is that we have a sustained period of stability and growth. Martin Allen has been apointed to do that job. Not for one game. Not for three of four games. But for the long haul. He is the manager and he should pick the players that he wants and build the team in the way that he sees fit. If he should not be doing this then you have clearly appointed the wrong man for the job and that is probably why I am seeing media links with yes men like Glen Roder. I'm sure that Glen is a very nice man but I do not want him anywhere near my club. He oversaw the demise of West Ham and the Stagnation of Newcastle United. for him to even be linked to us should be an embarresment to you Mr Mandaric. You have picked your manager and you should stand by him.

I have to say well done to Martin Allen. I can see the passion and commitment coming back into my club. I can see the enthusiasm of the players and their willingness to try their very best. I can see your enthusiasm and it is a wonderful wonderful thing. It is contagious and spreading throughout the club. I want to see you do your job and I want to see you given a fair chance to do that job. You should not have players imposed on you like Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink. It is your job to manage the football team and your job to sign the players. You do not tell anyone how to go about the day to day running of the fooball club and neither should they tell you who to sign. I have to say this because I feel that it is vitally important.

In a nutshell you must both work together. As I said above I will always be here and this will always be my club and the best thing for the club is if you work together. Martin should be allowed to build and he should be given a number of years to do that. I never EVER want to switch on my television to catch those goals again to see someone like Glen Roder on goals on sunday commenting that nothing has been confirmed YET with regards to the possibility of him being manager of my club. MARTIN ALLEN IS THE MANAGER! We have an EXCELLENT manager.

Mr Mandaric if you foolishly act in haste now you will be left to repent your mistake at your leisure.

The people want consolidation and growth. They want Martin Allen to oversee this.

Regards,

Irrespective of whether or not this is deleted instantly I felt it important to at least try and get my point across. It is better to try then to do nothing and fail. My e-mail alone can be ignored but if we all speak up we will be very hard to ignore.

Lets say what we want!

Agreed entirely

I will put my name to this and send accordingly

Goodbye Mad Dog

Milan Mandaric will axe Martin Allen as Leicester manager this week after a series of rows. And former Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock is favourite to replace controversial Allen, nicknamed Mad Dog.

Chairman Mandaric has been at loggerheads with Allen virtually from the first week he took over the managerial reins at the Walkers Stadium just three months ago. The Two clashed constantly over new players coming to a head when Allen refused to sign Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Mandaric had spent weeks enticing the Dutchman to the club but insisted Hasselbaink was not fit and wanted younger players. The former Portsmouth chairman has also been alarmed by Allen's quirky motivational tactics, which have upset some of the more established players at the club.

Despite yesterday's 4-1 win over Watford, a source close to Mandaric said: "Whatever the result, Martin Allen will be leaving this week."

Warnock has twice come close to working with Mandaric in the past and is availiable to start immediately. He interviewed Warnock when he was at Portsmouth and sounded out his availiabilty before he opted for Allen.

Former West Brom manager Gary Megson and ex-Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder are also believed to be in the frame.

Now before anyone says "Oh its NOTW again " hands up who believed and jumped on the Milan Manadric rumour when it first appear in the NOTW. Having said that I don't believe this story one bit.

You cudda at least proofread it

I think in light of this managerial discussion reaching the television audience, Mandaric really needs to come out and back Allen. He'd be a prize tit to sack him.

Some on here have written personal messages of support for Martin Allen to Milan Mandaric via e-mail.

I just wondered if others would be inspired to also write their own message to Milan!

I personally don't wish Martin Allen to leave or be sacked by Leicester City just for trivial reasoning!

I will write to Milan and Martin, who knows what good it will do but you don't know if you don't try!

I will let you know what I put when I have wrote it
