Allen on his way out or ROWING IS GOOD FOR LEICESTER

The problem with this crap is that it puts us in the limelight for the wrong reasons. I'm not suggesting that all footballers are fickle enough to read this stuff and believe it but it could effect either the current staff or scare off potential signings who wouldn't want to be joining a club in such disarray.

News FLASH - Win or bust for Allen as Milan poised

By Alan Nixon

Leicester City chairman Milan Mandaric will go for a promotion-winning Championship boss - if Martin Allen does not get the Foxes off to a flying start.

Mandaric has been taking behind-the-scenes soundings about his new manager and Allen could be one of the shock casualties of the season shortly.

Gary Megson and Peter Reid - two bosses who have taken clubs into the top flight - are on the emergency hit list if Mandaric decides to make a quick change.

Veteran Brian Little has also been considered, with Leicester desperate to mount a promotion challenge this season - and Mandaric willing to do what he has to do.

There was an embarrassing rift between Mandaric and Allen when the chairman set up a deal for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, as revealed by People Sport, but Allen then told him to come on trial for a month.

Mandaric signed many of the players before Allen arrived and the relationship has been uneasy.

MA needs time to build the side, no matter what MM wanted we were never going to be challenging this season - a late push for the playoffs would be more than adequate for myself and then a proper push next year. Its got to be the laziest journalism ever - both the NOTW and the People are crap anyway.

Some journo has pulled out MA in the Sack Race Sweepstake, and is trying his damndest to win.

they print total and utter rubbish and get most of it from football rumours!!

I doubt he'd be sacked this early, but it still made me sick to the stomach to read, and the reports of the falling out are so widespread that I'm finding them difficult not to believe.

Unless we were in the relegation fight, I'd be disgusted if he got sacked before christmas.

Pony and trap.

Sorry Mr Allen if you are reading this (and you probably are), these are the kind of fools I have to but up with, please just ignore them, all they are after is smart alec one liners, they have no interest in the football club, probably don't even go to the matches, just silly tag along merchants.

So if you would like to add your reply to me man to man, and maybe depending on your answers I might have a change of opinion, but please dont bank on it as its been poor so far has'nt it. :yesyes:

Well it's so easy for such a story to catch on. MM didn't sack Kelly despite having seen his team of champions for the best part of 4 months play, did he?

So what, I'd rather they fight and bicker if it means we have some real management going on.

The way the club is run compared to 3 months ago is unbelievably good. Enjoy it.

I was going to ask the same thing.

If Allen was to leave, I think Warnock is the right man.

Its time Leicester fans just accept that Warnock is a good manager who would make City into a promotion challenging side.

Bullshit contrived out of an already long published story. And another thing. We don't want Warnock. Allen's doing fine, still feeling his way and having to right the odd mistake, but anyone who didn't expect that is in fantasyland.

City fans should boycott these papers for trying to f'ck up our season.

There again, I haven't put this post in picture form with a sprinkling of tits so NOTW/People buyers are probably unable to understand it.

RUBBISH! I think MM will stick with MA for a long time yet and would even accept a mid-table finish this season, although not lightly! I think MA will do very well for us once he gets his squad sorted! This has just been stirred up because of the confusion with Hasselbaink! Bloody papers!!

Colin W*nker and Leicester City?

I don't think so. Not after what he's said about this club in the past, would be a bit hypocritical if you ask me.

Oh, and what exactly are the credentials he's got that make him so much better than A N Other? I can't think of any.
