Allen on his way out or ROWING IS GOOD FOR LEICESTER

I hate Peter Taylor as much as the next man for what he did to out club. I knew you were referring to what he did with us but since then he has done a lot better. Just because someone was a bad Leicester manager doesn't mean that you can't recognise someones achievements elsewhere.

lol I'm afraid it does with him, I am blinded by a red mist of hate for the guy. Don't care how successful he becomes, i will always have that uncontrolable eye twitch when someone mentions his name! PLus there were lots of rumours that Coleman would replace him end of last season and I don't think their chairman will want another finish outside the playoffs, so even though they've started well, there is some evidence to support my 'angry' claim!

Theres also rumours of Glen Roeder being our next manager. Rumours don't mean sh*t I'm afraid.

quote from MA at half time ;

“They came into the dressing room with their heads down but I just put my dance music on and shook them all by the hand.

:|:dunno:

does it mean he's off to join the cast of "fame"

Apparently he had quite a spicy salsa with Patrick Kisnorbo in the dressing room after the game much to Milan Mandaric's distaste. Milan prefers the Peurto Rican style while Patrick and Martin were obviously displaying a more modern Ballroom Mambo. The rift grows ever futher.

Glen Roeder has more chance of becoming the next Crystal Palace manager I would have thought!!!

I saw what a tactical genius Roader was against Aalkmar. No thanks. I cannot imagine how the embarrassment of the JFH situation ever arose but MM should treat is like the wife crashing the car - it's always possible and once it's been done yiou can't turn the clock back . You make up. Aren't MA/MM two big enough to do that?

If Roeder became our manager i would not go to another game this season.

I hate to say it but i would rather have Warnock as manager than this boring unimaginative w**kstain.

lol Think you're just determined to argue with me. My original point I was trying to make, was that Roeder has more chance of taking over Palace than Leicester, that is because I think MA is safe in his job at moment and will be given time to build something here. Palace fans don't like Taylor at all and although they've started ok, if results start going bad I am not sure how long he will last! I doubt Roeder will get a job anywhere for a while but i was just trying to be sarcastic and also gave me a chance to have dig at Taylor!

This is actually silly.

We aren't going to be parting with a manager after 3 games.

...or replace him with a manager that is widely regarded as not that great.

Milan said that one of the reasons he appointed Allen was that he was one of the few candidates that convinced him that he really, really wanted the job. Does anyone think Mr Charisma Roeder would be able to do that?

Cannot see it myself

MM should say something about this.

Quite apart from anything else it will be unsettling both to MA and the players.

Even if the talks were held I can well imagine they were about other things than Roeder's taking over the managership.

He just wouldn't be popular here. In any capacity as far as I can judge.

But MA can do without the speculation. He's got enough to do.

Sounds like utter bollocks to me! And totally unhelpful after what was a decent performance (still can be improved on of course!) yesterday.... thankfully it smacks of little more than lazy journalism, Dickov please!!! If we're turning down pensionable players like JFH and Fowler (righting IMHO) we're hardly going to pick up a player like Dickov at the age he is now...:angry:

lol, very true!!!

We all know MM is after a director of football.

Could Roeder be the man??

We made MacKay redundant so we can't have a Director of Football. If Roeder comes then he'll be our new Armadillo of Refridgerators.

Hasn't MM already said he's backing Allen after the Hasselbaink debacle? Enough for me.

Is this another Thracian parody

Trouble is, Ric, these new manager rumours have surfaced since that "backing". Unless, of course, Milan is using his media lackeys to put the fear of Jehovah up Martin Allen...thereby being all part of a dastardly plan.

Yeah, a vote of confidence from the chairman always puts rumours to rest!

Don was sporting director so we can have a director of football as long as he has different duties.

Brilliant, if buying crap players is now redundant, does that mean the next one is legally obliged to only purchase us shit hot players?

The best way to quash this rumour is for them to be seen buying a player they both agree (Riordan?) on and beating Watford.

How would we go about this? Can we order him through Harrods and have some Papperazi to snap MM and MA ordering him from the catalogue?

Look Milan does not suffer fools, he is VERY impatient, no smoke without fire...its true! :yesyes:

Heh, the tabloids are in the business of making smoke without fire, it's what they do. Stop being so gullible.
