dog_4 Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 5,500 at forest weren't very impressive support really. we should support the team on the road like we did at preston.

Tommeh Posted 30 August 2007 Posted 30 August 2007 With FoxTravel only providing one coach it's kind of hard. Plus it's not easy to get there on a train. It is a joke, rang up the ticket office this morning, got a man in a reet mard, said they've sold out, I thought ok, rang back half an hour later same bloke, I said is there any chance of getting another coach if demand picks up like what happened at preston, he said "no chance" yeah thanks for your help! Heard the travel sold out on Tuesday, so surely they may have been able to have filled another Just hoping Peter Jones can sort us something out tomorrow, tis a little last minute, like but fingers crossed I'll be there to heer on the boys.
James. Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 Depending on how drunk I get tonight I may well make the lonely train journey down for this. I don't particularly want to but I just can't help it. Damn you Leicester, damn you.

sdb Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 it's vital we get behind the team from the 1st minute. I think the supporters will determine to a large extent how the players perform in the game. Moaning and protesting is like fighting with ourselves, at least if people want to do it they should do so outside the ground and come into the stadiun with a PMA!!
shrood Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 it's vital we get behind the team from the 1st minute. I think the supporters will determine to a large extent how the players performTrue...but do you not think it's maybe worth sacrificing 45 minutes of complete support for the players, to show MM our displeasure with the decision. It's easy to assume that with all the constenation among fans, obviously MM knows most fans thought it was a ridiculous decision but it's not like he reads FT is it?! I doubt he has many dealings with real ground level fans, so it might not actually be apparent to him. If we just go to the games and act like we dont give two shits about him sackin Allen, then he won't be deterred from doing something similar in the future. I think it's probably worth 45 minutes or even 90 mins of our season to show him.it's vital we get behind the team from the 1st minute. koop. Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 Ok first off I was just as shocked and pissed off with the situation over the last few days and couldn't see how getting rid of MA was a good idea. I though we had found the man to take us forward for the next few years but............... Having time to think about things over the last 48 hours or so do you really think it's a great idea to go on a protest or start a hate campagne against the man who is trying to restore our club to its rightfull place in the top flight of english football? Mandaric may be here to make money when we get promoted, but whatever the reason, without him we would be going in the same direction as Forest and Leeds and with the same useless squad we have had for the past few years! If Milan cant work with him then something has to give, you need a strong working relationship between board and manager IMHO. So although i believe he should have had more time in the job and i dont fully understand, and may never understand the true reasons behind this sacking, WE MUST TRUST OUR CHAIRMAN AND GET BEHIND OUR TEAM. I think starting a hate campagne may be a bad idea. whats done is done, lets hope he finds the right man for the job this time. No one will remember this when we are playing away games at Old Trafford etc again.
adam Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 5,500 at forest weren't very impressive support really. we should support the team on the road like we did at preston. Yeah terrible support, 5500 on a tuesday night. We took more away than most teams got at home!!
C-man Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 We're going to be at it non stop at the back Fez for 90 minutes (Oo er ) I'm expecting an embarassing turnout from our set of supporters, but I'm hoping we can create a fairly decent atmosphere anyway. Either way I'm looking forward to it. Well they have a rather embarrasing set of supporters too, as far as last season goes, we were making more noise than them even when we were 3-0 down
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 After all this club have put me through over the last few weeks, I'm not making a 500 mile trip for them.

Manwell Pablo Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 As if you would have done anyway. I'd of considered it, with the badger mobile layed on.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 August 2007 Author Posted 31 August 2007 I'd of considered it, with the badger mobile layed on. We've got enough to worry about with pickups in Leicester, Northampton and Oxford without having to worry about Hicksville, Leicestershire as well!
The People's Hero Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 We've got enough to worry about with pickups in Leicester, Northampton and Oxford without having to worry about Hicksville, Leicestershire as well! Next time the TPH mobile is called in to service, a ride will be laid on for one lucky fan who lives on the route from me to the ground.
