Went through Health & Safety at work, first official shift tomorrow night 8pm til about 5/6am, they have dead chickens hanging up in there, and there will be a room of actual living spiders and snakes.

Won £25 on a premium bond that I never knew I had. Cheque arrived at my mum's house yesterday. Came from a £2 premium bond bought by the midwife when I was born in 1975 (a gift as I was her 1000th delivery). Cheers

Do they give you the prize even if you lost it? I had one from about 1968 but no idea where it went. Premium bond club at work and I dropped out early on.

The letter contained the cheque plus a copy of the premium bond. Its all sent to the registered address, in my case my mum's house. I would imagine many people move house and forget to tell them (now called NS & I). Cheque is valid for 3 months.

moved house more than  three times over the past 40 years so the PO have lost the cheque or Postman Pat has kept it.

At least, I'd presume staff are encouraged to dress up as well as people who plan on going there in the night.

Handed in my 2 weeks last night at Maccy D's :D

 

Also played the International Poker Open in Dublin last weekend, finishing 56th of 1,373 and cashing 685 Euros. Basically a free weekend on the piss in Dublin, with money to take home, and I've learnt a lot about Poker doing it  :)

 

 

The two aren't related btw lol I've taken a new job
