koop. Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 The moderators are great in this forum. There is quite a lengthy and interesting dicussion on this match that has been closed and replaced with one saying "come on you bloooooz!!!" as a sticky. Random.

Yes they are, because there is always a match thread for evry single city game. So i suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself mate. The three stages of any Leicester City match: 1) Pre-match chat, often running for several days... discussing our chances, our line-up options, our problems and our drinking arrangements. 2) The Match Thread (the one we're in) for those of us listening to the game to chat about Barber and his fooking weather reports. Somewhat replaced by Live Chat in recent weeks. 3) The Post Match threads - player ratings and general opinion topics. As each new thread is opened, the old one closes... so tonight at the end of the match, a Post Match thread will be created and the Match Thread itself closed. ----------- Just out of interest, there have been at least 64 official Match Threads... there are many more, but they just have different titles (usually slagging off the Sheep or Trees). The practice dates back to August 2004... it's been around for quite a while now. This is how it's done.

Dr The Singh Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 It's my mums birthday today so that cooooont Megson best put his best ginger turban on and win the game!!!!
Ric Flair Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 We need a win tonight. Tough game coming up on Saturday, i'd hate to think this time next week we've been on the end of two defeats, it would be a nightmare. If Megson can get the win, it will go a long way to getting the fans behind him.
filbertway Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Anyone think it would `be fair to score an own goal from the off and let them have a 1-0 advantage from the start. We should`be confident enough to know we can beat them by 2 clear goals anyway.

I agree. A win would do us no end of good and would satisfy Megson somewhat from the personal side of things....
Blue Bob Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I hope Megson puts out a strong team not the second string like Allen did.
Dr The Singh Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I hope Megson puts out a strong team not the second string like Allen did. I think tthat's a definite, he will want to win the fans, players etc over asap, and winning against forest will go along way towards that!!
Tommeh Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I really cant wait for this now, gerrin picked up at about half 5 Blue army!
NorthernFox Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I hope Megson puts out a strong team not the second string like Allen did. Absolutely. Are we Man Yoo in disguise? I think not. Best team available. Win 3-0 then stick it up the cockernees on Saturday
Thracian Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I hope Megson puts out a strong team not the second string like Allen did. He'll get some credit for that. His other task is to make them play as a unit for 90 minutes.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I'm hoping for a dour 1-0 victory for the Foxes, dour because I couldn't be arsed to go. That's no attitude, is it?
