Chairman of the Bored Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Goals flying in all over the place, but sadly not into the Charl'un net.
RoyFox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 MEGSON yesterday Is the the way you prepare your team the day before a match? “This is a Premiership club in everything but status and the squad needs improving. We have 45 players and they are much of a muchness. No wonder they are playing crud for you. I'm betting on him going by XMAS.
Brainy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Megson is not the man. I know it, you know it, milan needs to be told it. Let's get down to the walkers on thursday and let him know Yes, yes, lets get Mourinho in.
Lets Be having You Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Our Fans leaving the Ground, sounds fooking total shite`
fatboy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Come on, got to try to hold on to the 2-0 scoreline, can we be any more defensive?
Chairman of the Bored Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 It's a wrist slitter. Might go to Mandy's meeting on Thursday now just to let him account for himself!
Simon Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 This is utterly dire. Megson has a lot to answer for.
Mort Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 No wonder they are playing crud for you. I'm betting on him going by XMAS. I think most of us didn't expect to see him keeping the post past then.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Megson will be sacked before seasons' end in my opinion
Mort Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Megson will be sacked before seasons' end in my opinion Gone long before that IMHO... could easily lose Stoke, Wolves and Wednesday games, playing like this.
Brainy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Because he's lost one game with an unconvincing performance?
Thracian Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 £60-odd quid to see that lot. No width, no creativity and according to Walsh no fight. Doubtless a few will relish blaming Sheehan or Mattock but we really were a mess all round with our experienced central defenders donating goals, Humey aparently nowhere to be seen, Cort being ineffective, Chambers unheard of and hardly a ray of light to be seen anywhere. How Wesolowski has been missed - as he was at other times when he was injured. We really have to decide what we're trying to achieve and how we're going to do it.
teblin Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I still think all of this boils down we don't have a left back! That game we won we had one. Need to get one in. Not having one player in that postition can throw the whole team off balance. Does anyone here know the best side?
chesterfox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Because he's lost one game with an unconvincing performance? nO because he in a short space of time has already proven himself to be inept, has turned the players against him before getting to know them and has chosen two completely wrong sides . I am sure there will be many other reasons arriving shortly.
RoyFox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 MEGSON OUT MEGSON OUT I know it's early and reactionary but I don't care anymore. I'm also intrigued to hear MM reactions when we boo MEGSON - ring on the fireworks
Webbo Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 We were going to lose at some point. Couldn't really understand Megsons tactics but it's early days for him yet.
Mort Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Because he's lost one game with an unconvincing performance? He was always a very risky appointment, and not in the sense that Allen was (could be v.good/could be v bad) but simply in the sense that his record is mediocre at best... whats more we've seen at QPR, Forrest and now Charlton some very very uninspiring and down right worrying signs.
