Our midfield was near-enough non-existent on Saturday and so I can see Villa bypassing it with ease as well on Wednesday. Why the fork did I even buy a ticket for this game? Yes, but out of Megson's six defenders none of which can actually defend. The only half decent defender we have will be sitting on the bench.
maddog Posted 24 September 2007 Author Posted 24 September 2007 It's a win win situation. If we lose we may go on to beat Stoke and Wolves. Knowing us if we beat Villa we will lose to Stoke and Wolves and be bottom of the league.
