Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 It's a win win situation. If we lose we may go on to beat Stoke and Wolves. Knowing us if we beat Villa we will lose to Stoke and Wolves and be bottom of the league. How is that a win win situation? It sounds more like a lose probably lose probably lose situation to me.
Staf Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 If we do lose i hope we put up more than a fight than we did against charlton
Milky Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I don't care about the result. I just want a performace, a performance with fight and desire, just like last year. Never felt so proud as after that game.
Lord Nibblington Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I'll be suprised if we can take positives from the game come 10PM on Wednesday.
David Villa Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 Oi lads lets stop with the negativity yea let's just hope they do well instead of putting the team down before we have even played Villa, I would love to see us beat Villa just to shut you lot up sometimes cos you all talk a load of crap. I will deffo be thier supporting the lads and getting behind them instead of you lot bunch of idiots always putting them down all the time you arent the real supporters you are the armchair fans who talk aload of crap.

I don't think any armchair fans will be able to imagine just how crap we were at Charlton.
David Villa Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I dont care if they go to every game or what, lets just get behind the team and the manager for once. If City win on wednesday it will be the greatest win for ages and all you small minded idiots will still be on here saying how crap we are.
Master Fox Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I don't think any armchair fans will be able to imagine just how crap we were at Charlton. That’s the luxury of being an arm chair fan! God it feels good....
James. Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I don't think any armchair fans will be able to imagine just how crap we were at Charlton. So glad I got far too battered on Friday and didn't go sleep until 7am, rendering my attendance at said Charlton game an impossibility. Phew!
Master Fox Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I dont care if they go to every game or what, lets just get behind the team and the manager for once. If City win on wednesday it will be the greatest win for ages and all you small minded idiots will still be on here saying how crap we are. Well we're not exactly good and you really don't make much sense.
Simi Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 Oi lads lets stop with the negativity yea let's just hope they do well instead of putting the team down before we have even played Villa, I would love to see us beat Villa just to shut you lot up sometimes cos you all talk a load of crap. Shut up. So the people that go to almost every game all over England and come back and vent there anger about a joke of a performance that we put out, are armchair supporters?
James. Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I dont care if they go to every game or what, lets just get behind the team and the manager for once. If City win on wednesday it will be the greatest win for ages and all you small minded idiots will still be on here saying how crap we are. But then they'll be another group of equally small minded idiots saying how great we are. People have a right to vent their frustration at what sounds like an abysmal performance. You're talking nonsense, sir.
Lord Nibblington Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 So the moral of the story is that when we're crap, we should all pretend that nothing's wrong, and everything's going great? Right. Sure. Nothing wrong with that logic.
MPH Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 It would be so so typical of us to beat Villa and then lose to Stoke at home 2-1 win against villa with one of the guys with prem experience( prob N'Gotty scoring the winner in the 76th minute.. somthing like that) and then a 0-2 home defeat against Stoke to bring us back down to earth with a hefty bump... oh and Fulop going off injured at 0-0
Daggers Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 I think it would be more typical of us to lose both matches
lcfc_jme Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 This David Villa character is actually a complete arse. I don't know if he was there on Saturday or not, but finding a way to be positive about us playing Villa after watching that farce against a lesser Charlton side is more difficult than it appears.
Linekaaaah Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 Doesn't matter whether you're an armchair supporter or a fanatic who'd go to Malta to watch a freakin' friendly, we're still shit. It doesn't take an IQ of Einstein-type proportions to work out we were crap against Charlton. We're usually crap, and we'll be crap against Villa. I can't understand the folks here who tell people to stop saying how phenomenally shite we are. 6 points out of 18, 21st in the league, we scraped a win agains Accrington in the cup, and miraculously beat the scum in the last two minutes the following round. I just go into every game expecting the worst. If it doesn't happen, it's a bonus. We're crap atm folks. Deal with it.
Glen_lcfc Posted 24 September 2007 Posted 24 September 2007 Anyway moving on from - we are crap etc etc etc etc - wheres the pre match haunt at Villa Park, would be good if we had somewhere like the meadows - but doubt it? Sorry to keep asking this question but cannot find no info anywhere?
Daggers Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 I fear the worst at Villa Park What? Alien abductions, anal probes and a boy band singing at half-time?
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 I dunno about abductions but the aliens could certainly turn up to take Marlon Harewood home. Oh yeah, some one else can handle the Anal probe, Thracian, Youth academy graduates joke. Thats not my style.
Dames Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 I dunno about abductions but the aliens could certainly turn up to take Marlon Harewood home. Oh yeah, some one else can handle the Anal probe, Thracian, Youth academy graduates joke. Thats not my style. He kinda looks like a Black Homer Simpson.
Flynny Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Oh yeah, some one else can handle the Anal probe, Thracian, Youth academy graduates joke. Thats not my style. You've messed that one up. It goes "I don't make jokes about wooden steps in fields that don't belong to me. Thats not my stile." Tim fucking Vine. Anywho, I bet the odds on 4-1 Villa, Agbonlahor to score first are pretty decent.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 He kinda looks like a Black Homer Simpson. There’s an incredible, funny, border line raciest chant in there.
Raj Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 He kinda looks like a Black Homer Simpson.
