Well I Believe we are, out of all the pre-season arrivals only Clemence really made me think we were going the right way. N'Gotty has been a good signing for the short term and Fullop is a great assset but he is only on loan. The team/Squad is no better than when we went down 3 years ago. We deserve better . MA was not the Answer GM certainly is'nt. MM Arrived with 'God Like' publicity bur i'm affraid that he dosent have a clue and once again we are drifting towards Div 2 obscurity :S

Depends on what you're expecting?

Commitment, attractive football (at least at times) attacking when 2-0 down - don't think thats over the top.

Premiership this season - no, no chance, but some signs we could be going in the right direction - don't think thats expecting too much either!

I'm also expecting a blow job later - expect i'll get disapointed here too - trick is to not expect i guess.

To be honest i don't think thats the case. You say our squad is no better than when we went down 3 years ago, but why would it be? We where relegated from the prem of course our squad was better then than it is now.

And also only Clemence excited you? Are you unaware that we signed DJ Campbell?

You also say MA was'nt the answer and neither is Megson, are you a prophet?

You don't need to be a prophet to know Megson's not the answer, DJ Campbell is hardly setting the world on fire and I hope this bleedin rollercoaster aint called Oblivion! :unsure:

Going to watch a team at least put in some effort and play some decent football instead of hoofing it up and rolling over when we go a goal down (besides the cups we always perform in them for some reason).

Yeah i guess im expecting too much.

My two cents - why would we be expecting too much given the circumstances? We probably expect less than our chairman does - I recall a poll on here suggesting most posters expect a top 10 finish, it wouldn't surprise me if Milan wants promotion in this first season.

Any team that is used to drawing and losing will take a lot of major surgery to succeed. Buying so many new players who have to learn each others games is always something of a transitional phase and when you have a side that has had two managers a few games into the season, you will have instability and that too goes into the mix when trying to assess where we are as a team. Its still to early to pass judgment on how good we are as we need that stability.

yes. expectations are and were far too high.

i think megson is a good appointment and will sort the men out from the boys in this over saturated squad and strengthen where neccersary and boot out those players that need to go (inc, prob at least half the new signings).

so what then? Who the fook would want to manage us then? You get 5 games and if it ain't happening your OUT. Ok if your on a 3 year contract i guess. MM you fool. But more to the point who the hell would want to manage us? You lot must be some of the fools that barracked MON. And before you think I'm pro GM, I don't think it was a great appointment. But unfortunately we have to get on with it whilst he is at the helm.
