Guest Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 My uncle lives in Perth, and they have to make sure that the swimming pool is clear of funnel webs before going in. My geography is shit hot, and I know for a fact that Perth is not in the outback! The arachnids are the only reason why I will not go to Oz, so I fully understand what Mr Finnmondroyd is saying.
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 A quick way for anyone to make £100 and its legal One of the business I am involved in is one of these Claims companies that get you compensation if you were involved in some sort of accident. We offer £50 to anyone who refers someone to us and once one of our solicitors accept the case, we get paid and then pay you. People don't have to wait the 3-12 months for the client to get there settlement, all we need is the solicitors to say they`ll take the case and we all get paid If any Foxestalk member has had a friend or family member who were involved in an accident or even if you want to sit in the waiting room at the Leicester Infirmary bugging people who have just been knocked over by a passing car , just give me a PM and we`ll send them the relevant forms and you could be a week away from £100, not the £50 we usually offer people. Either that or sell your ar$es for the extra income! Has anyone ever told you that you are one extremly dodgey ****er.

Alexikokopops Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 You are a braver man than I. The fact that I'm not a man probably helps. Neither am I!! I'm a French Duke, I lie around on hammocks all day eating soft cheese.
Guest Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Neither am I!!I'm a French Duke, I lie around on hammocks all day eating soft cheese. That sounds like the kind of life I would like to lead. I can't say I'm not envious.
BigGibbo Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Australias nice i could hook you up with a crusiey desk job in Melbourne CBD Realistically how easy would it be to move to melbourne?
Alexikokopops Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Realistically how easy would it be to move to melbourne? You could just drop everything and move. Easy as you like.
BigGibbo Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 You could just drop everything and move.Easy as you like. Yeah but where how much would it cost?
AoWW Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Probably the safest way is to go to your bank. However, you could consider paying your debts off with your current credit card then transfer the balance to an account that offers 0% for up to 15 months. That's dangerous if you go past that date but it does give you time to sort yourself out. See here for options. If your parents have some equity in their house, they might take out an equity loan for you for which you have to make the repayment. The interest on an equity loan is substantially less than cedit cards. My daughter got into bind with multiple credit cards and I did just that. She paid me monthly and I paid the debt, the benefit to me was that I was able to take advantage of the tax writeoff for the interest. Can I be your daughter, Smudge? I'll send you a Father's Day card and everything! I don't actually owe THAT much on my credit cards. Honest!
Finnegan Posted 10 October 2007 Author Posted 10 October 2007 Well the council tax is payed, one of my paid-for-by-mummy flat-mates waved his student loan at it and it all went away. I owe him £200 but that's far less sinister than someone knocking down our door for our TV and PCs. So now to make a speedy exit stage right and retreat before the next month's installment is due.

Geo V Posted 10 October 2007 Posted 10 October 2007 Has anyone ever told you that you are one extremly dodgey ****er. The word you are looking for is resourceful I must admit that some of the businesses I am involved with are the nicest, especially the loans business. As someone who is probably ten years older than you who has done the grind of 9-6s and then 9-8s in retail management, I can safely say that not everyone has to go for the "norm" when it comes to making money. My only regret was not leaving sooner and having the knads to do my own thing when I was 25. Being a manager in stores like Currys and Harveys earning the stores over £1m net profit in a calender year whilst I earned £40-55k depending on where I was looking back wasn't a fair percentage. Some weeks were 6 or 7 days and 14 hour days to make them run right and all you get is a phone call to say well done every now and again or a slap on the back at some conference with a load of fellow gimps. Doing your own thing is the way forward!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 Yeah but where how much would it cost? Flights, Accom dunno really, i've got a couple mates renting close to the city shareing rent pay about $150 a week 60 pound don't know how that compares to england leicester but you can rent cheaper down in suburbs decent 4 bedrooms for $250. Maybe you need to stop haveing a punt Gilbo and save some coin and come over What the hell is a tv licence, or is it just just a way off saying pay tv
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 So I owe Burton's about £90 and utilities about £60, which'll leave me with about £50 overdraft left. My remaining income for the month's about £280. My rent is £300, I have to eat, travel and generally afford to exist and have just been told we have to pay £1200 in Council Tax with our right to pay in installments revoked.Wooo! ....  I fooking hate councils, complete waste of space. A majority of citizens don't give a stuff about what they do, and the ones that do are dickheads, old people and nutcases. We had a Melbourne City councillor come to our local party branch meeting last night, and you know what he had to say for himself? Bitching about a 10 day flower show that happens every year being on the grass and not the asphalt, and how it might affect the grass and trees. fooking idiot.

Yea - cities and towns would run just fine without anyone to organise them... Thank God I'm not a dickhead, old person and/or a nutcase...
Jon the Hat Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 What the hell is a tv licence, or is it just just a way off saying pay tv A TV license is a compulsory fee of £135.50 a year for everyone who owns a TV. It pays for the BBC TV and Radio. Many people don't want to pay it, personally I think it is a bargain. All Pay TV - Cable or Sky (Foxtel equivalent) - is extra.

I don't doubt it's value, it was just another thing that I had to think about at a time when I can barely afford this month's DD payment.

With the excellent service the BBC provides, it should be at least 400 pounds! NTNON.

AoWW Posted 11 October 2007 Posted 11 October 2007 NTNON?? You have to be a member of an 'oh-so-exclusive' club to get that. You're clearly not! Nevermind, eh.
