There's tons of great music out there that sadly enough hardly ever gets played. But then again, it's probably better that way.

Lillehamring Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 they're a good band, may i ask which one? ..i believe i have heard of just that band out of the ones you mentioned, it's funny cause in the uk they are unheard of, whilst over here they are 'relatively' huge. oh, alexei - yes, to panda bear, although, like most animal collective stuff, you have to take the rough with the smooth, ikke sant?

shen Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 one i would recommend to the masses would be Opeth, but be careful with which song you pick, some are beautifully technical acoustic pieces whereas some are epic 25 minute progressive death metal songs. a few 'safe' songs would be porcelaine heart (ignore the heavy intro though), harvest, hope leaves, in my time of need and windowpane You could easily add "Burden" to those, not to mention the fantastic "Hours Of Wealth" with one of the best solos I've come accross Flyleaf?Anyone heard of them? Yeah, found out about them the summer before last. I was really into them around the time of the breakup with an ex. I think I put in one of their songs on a mix for the FT CD Swap #2 ("Fully Alive")

I was really into them around the time of the breakup with an ex. I think I put in one of their songs on a mix for the FT CD Swap #2 ("Fully Alive") they are very good, i'm hoping they do a spot at wacken this year, its been a while since they last played it and flyleaf are alright, they had a bit of an upsurge last year where alot of people were interested in them, mainly due to the song 'i'm so sick' being used in die hard 4.0, the video then got the customary 'it's new and people like it, lets play the video every 20 minutes' from kerrang
Rodderz Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 i am realy in to a band called underground heroes they are maily low key but they are realsing a album somtime this year
