Milky Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Why isn't there complete up roar that Milan has rejected this approach? There was up roar when we got him. The majority seemed to hate Megson. Remember people, he has ginger hair!

Jon the Hat Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Trying to care... nearly... no.... not.... quite... .there.... ah.... stuff it.
AyewJoking Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Its a win win situation IMO. If Megson shows the slightest desire to jump ship, Milan will want rid of him anyway. If Megson wants to stay here then fine, I used to be dead against Megson as manager of our club but I have moved on.
Strokes Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 I just think it would be hilarious if GM does to MM, what MM did to MA...................... I think i would actually have more respect for him.
lookwhaticando Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 I didn't want Megson here to begin with. But he's here and he's having a crack. That's very nice. I would rather he didn't leave... not because I've warmed to him per se... but I don't think I want to go through the managerial mincing machine again. I'm sick of reading how we're going to get Paul Jewell or maybe Glenn Hoddle... especially as we invariably get linked with names who make my stomach churn - Peter bastard fooking Reid, for example. If Megson jumps, I won't be too upset that we lost him - because it's Megson, and I'm not his biggest fan... but I will be a little upset that we're going through the motions for the third time in less than six months.
leeleic Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 I don't reckon we've got anything to worry about. He's settled and actually done rather well in his time here. Were one of the stronger outfits in the league and with a bit of tuning here and there, i can see a late push for play-offs. I'd like him to publicly end any speculation whatsoever, especially before 2m, the players won't need this unsettling them, i should imagine alot of them are still fragile from MA's departure.
maddog Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Why would he be pissed off? [/quote/] wishing he hadn't took Leicester job because he could have managed in the premiership perhaps.
Blue Bob Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Now that Milan has given Megson his full backing when do we think he will go???? Sunday or Monday????
dandannieldanok Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 I am a great believer in loyalty, trust and integrity. Slightly hypocritical
Anish Posted 19 October 2007 Posted 19 October 2007 Milan Mandaric is talking absolute bo llocks if he thinks he can get away with saying things like "I have worked tirelessly to bring stability to this club" and "I am a great believer in loyalty, trust and integrity". It would be karma if Megson walked out on Mandaric after the amount of 'loyalty and trust' that Mandaric showed. I wouldn't be too displeased about him leaving, but he's done a fair job so far (if rather dull and negatively) and I think it could destroy morale in the squad if they had another manager.

I don't see how you can justify that we are one of the stronger outfits in this division. At the moment, most of our strikers, bar maybe Iain Hume aren't delivering, and don't really look like they can find any sort of consistency, mainly down to not having a settled partnership. Although Hume and Fryatt do seem to be Megsons preferred partnership at this moment in time.
renards Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 The clubs solicitors have been informed + acording to one of their staff who deal with players and managers severence Megson has not signed his Leicetser contract yet..not sure what difference that makes? On playing side, Sammy Lee tried to get BWFC playing football and failed, board obviously want to revert back to huffball and Megson is the master
