JoeyB Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 £300,000 compo! i would pay them £10 (all i got atm am skint) to take him away
Ric Flair Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 When you say lumped, at what odds? I got 6/4 as Megson drifted after the news that Bolton has spoken to Coleman. Had a bullseye on it. So will get back about £130 including my stake.
MPH Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Are we living in some sort of weird alternative world to reality or somthing? I cant believe we are talking about getting a new manager. again. already. And megson wanted by a prem club? its just downright hilarious. fantasy stuff surely...

MPH Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Well you have over 1000 posts so you must br right bolton message board: Bateman Posted on 24/10 11:38 Email this Message | Edit | Reply It's Megson !!!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just got the call that he has accepted the job. Oh my gosh. I cannot believe Bolton have stooped so low. There is only one way Bolton are headed now and it aint up. ( its usually quoting AT LEAST some other source that helps convince other people. from experience of when i first started, its hard to trust a new person- only because we have had idiots in the past posting utter guff.. )
Thracian Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Wonder who we'll get next on an unsigned three year contract!
MPH Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Wonder who we'll get next on an unsigned three year contract! if he hasnt got a contract, then how can Milan refuse permission for him to be spoken to? how can they be offering 300k? it doesnt make sense. When we first came here , i understood he had signed a 1 year deal with a possible 2 year extension. I think its the 2 year extension he hasnt signed and the one year deal he is currently on that the 300k is for
samlcfc1 Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 megson isnt on any contract but we still have his employment rights- hes still an employee
Daggers Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 They are rotten and sour, just like Daggers, and his wench. Watch it spelling boy...Mrs.D is a right evil bitch.
ohmy6od2 Posted 24 October 2007 Author Posted 24 October 2007 megson isnt on any contract but we still have his employment rights- hes still an employee No he's not
ohmy6od2 Posted 24 October 2007 Author Posted 24 October 2007 Is megson leaving official yet No not yet tomasz. But hang in there buddy, i'm sure the wait for this great news will soon be over.
Master Fox Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 If we manage to get £300,00 from Bolton I think that's a good little bit of business actually.
Wycombe Fox Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Bolton really don't want GM http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/display.var...ager_search.php
Ozwin Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 ****ING HELL. What a waste of however many weeks he's been here. Yet again we go through the torment of who's possibly coming in and who's not and yet again we'll end up with a nobody because nobody decent wants anything to do with Mandaric. ****ing joke, that's what this club's turning into.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 if he hasnt got a contract, then how can Milan refuse permission for him to be spoken to? how can they be offering 300k? it doesnt make sense. When we first came here , i understood he had signed a 1 year deal with a possible 2 year extension. I think its the 2 year extension he hasnt signed and the one year deal he is currently on that the 300k is for on Sky Sports yesterday they said that the contract was in place but nbeither Megson or his agent had signed it. However, because he was being paid under the terms of this contract he was classed as an employee and therefore Bolton still had to go through the appropriate channels in order to speak to Megson and would have to agree compensation. having had one loud mouth eccentric follwed by a dour disciplinarian perhaps we will go for a middle of the road inoffensive manager this time??? Hmmm, fook it lets have Peter Taylor with Rob Kelly as assistant!! Give them until January then regardless of results bring in some un heard of eastern european before sacking him and ending the season with Martin Allen back at the helm!! A maangerial dream team with David Pleat and Ron Atkinson as joint Directors of Football should then be installed over the summer! Sorted!!!
Fat Ron Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 So has he gone then or what? Im getting bored of all the waiting, I dont actually want him to go. I think we need stability but all this fannying around, will he wont he crap is ridiculous. Stay? Go? just get it done and get over it.
Wycombe Fox Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Bring back Harry Redkn....I mean Martin Allen!
MPH Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 its 1pm and the guy talking said he spoke to MM a few minutes ago...... MM is talking to Bolton as well as the football league and his lawyers.. he also said that MM looked exhausted and very demoralised
Ozwin Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Someone will come in and we'll end up back to square one in a relagation scrap all season. It's a joke, why couldn't we just have stuck with Allen, seen how he did up until January, then sack him so someone else can get some players in on their terms. Why all this hassle, it's no good for the team and it's not good for the fans? I'm personally sick of this soap opera we now know as Leicester City Football Club.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007  A lot of people will be very disappointed.
