Wycombe Fox Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 why is Allen held in such high regard? Maybe because he's got the best points to games percentage of any of the last 5 managers (at least)! Maybe because, IMHO, he's got more charisma than any of the last 7 or 8 managers that we've had! So what if he was a bit of a maverick with a nutty tendency - the results appeared to be coming.
Phube Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Wonder who we'll get next on an unsigned three year contract!
Tabou Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 SLANDER!!! I am original No im just saying, as much as I would like to be rid of the ginger tosser, I really cant see him leaving. MPH Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 It did say on SSN that MM was 'doing all he can' to ensure that GM stayed at the club... dont bother on our account, MM

Nosowicz Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I have read the posts, with hope, but can anyone tell me as a fact that Megson has left the club? If this is so when will the statement be released?

Ric Flair Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I have read the posts, with hope, but can anyone tell me as a fact that Megson has left the club?If this is so when will the statement be released? He wasn't ever officially here according to Megson and his lawyers.
Wezleylowski Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I have read the posts, with hope, but can anyone tell me as a fact that Megson has left the club?If this is so when will the statement be released? Just saw him on Sky sports news and he did'nt really fill me with confidence as to whether he will stay. I was expecting him to say something along the lines of " Whatever is going on between Milan and Bolton is between them, and i am staying here at Leicester" But he said "Whatever is going on between Milan and Bolton is between them, so whatever will be will be". Personally i think he will go.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Things wernt Rosy with Martin Allen. Whatever the reasons he was sacked the fact remains that we were hardly storming the League. There seems to be a few cries of "Watford 4-1".... Dont get it? From where I was sitting we were rather fortunate to win by such a generous margin and didnt impress afterwards at Plymouth, so why is Allen held in such high regard? Erm, because even if one game in ten was like the Watford one we would be better off than with what we've seen of Smegson. Also, anyone who went to that game and last night's would know what a difference a passionate manager can make to (a) his players and (b) the crowd. No contest.
shrood Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Is there any other club where the stuff that happens off the pitch is so much more interesting than what we're doing on it?! Probably not. It's all getting a bit ridiculous really. Megson can still f**k off though.
MPH Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I have read the posts, with hope, but can anyone tell me as a fact that Megson has left the club?If this is so when will the statement be released? one of the threads in this forum says that MM said on Sky Sports News that GM is STILL our manager.
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 He wasn't ever officially here according to Megson and his lawyers. Like a slippery ginger ninger sneaking off into the night.
Ozwin Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 G.O. Game Over. Garry Megson can piss off, if he can't give us a straight answer after we've took him under our wing and supported him then he can go. I don't want this ****. Maybe we can get Paul Jewell in at last and be done with it.
danny. Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Elvis HammondShaun 'no-neck Newton Alan Maybury Mark DeVries Carl Cort Don't forget Richard 'Lanky Ape-Man' Stearman

No contest. What you mean like beating Villa or Sheffield Wednesday? Dont get me wrong, I was gutted that Allen left when he did but things wernt great back then. I was even more gutted that Megson got the job, didnt like him, didnt want him but surely there should be a transition period where Megson should be allowed to get his own players in?
