Jon the Hat Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 its 1pm and the guy talking said he spoke to MM a few minutes ago......MM is talking to Bolton as well as the football league and his lawyers.. He will be trying his best to up the compo. Knowing Milan he wil sack hm if he doesn't go now. Much like QPR did with Holloway.
Maybes Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 its 1pm and the guy talking said he spoke to MM a few minutes ago......MM is talking to Bolton as well as the football league and his lawyers.. he also said that MM looked exhausted and very demoralised Suggests that megson has made his mind up to go bolton and mando wants some compensation
Jon the Hat Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 He's going to stay. No Chance. he will either go with approval or be sacked. It's all about the compensation now.
Staf Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I also have a dreadful feeling that he will be our manager against Barnsely
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Someone will come in and we'll end up back to square one in a relagation scrap all season. It's a joke, why couldn't we just have stuck with Allen, seen how he did up until January, then sack him so someone else can get some players in on their terms. Why all this hassle, it's no good for the team and it's not good for the fans? I'm personally sick of this soap opera we now know as Leicester City Football Club. Come on its piss funny, just go along for the ride! It must be far more fun than being a Middlesboro fan or something!
Fat Ron Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Things wernt Rosy with Martin Allen. Whatever the reasons he was sacked the fact remains that we were hardly storming the League. There seems to be a few cries of "Watford 4-1".... Dont get it? From where I was sitting we were rather fortunate to win by such a generous margin and didnt impress afterwards at Plymouth, so why is Allen held in such high regard?
teblin Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I also have a dreadful feeling that he will be our manager against Barnsely Wouldn't have thought so!
Ric Flair Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I also have a dreadful feeling that he will be our manager against Barnsely No way. It's past that stage now. Mandaric has been riled, he'll want compensation or Megson will be on gardening leave for quite some time. Megson thinks other ex-chairman have stopped him getting job previously? Well if the Bolton thing goes tit's up, then he'll not get another in a hurry either. TWAT.

Monk Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 No, put yourself in Milan's pants (not literally). I don't think Megson will be manager on Saturday now Megsons interviews in the past 24 hours. Milan will have to sack him if he doesnt go to Bolton. In fact, I would actually WANT him to sack him if he doesn't go, just for expressing an interest. I know we've mostly been anti MM over the signing of Megson, but on this matter I have some sympathy, he must be pretty gutted! Well, its back to 'in Milan we trust' land again.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 so why is Allen held in such high regard? People liked his quirkiness and his posts on the OS and seemed to ignore his lack of tactical awareness.
Simi Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 From TB.. Rumour is that Leicester City have called a press conference for 4pm this afternoon

I hope you are reffering to the team as Allen wasn't in charge then. Anyhow I agree the win against watford was very fortuitous

We were OK at Plymouth, played OK football and got a pretty reasonable point. It was hardly total football but it was a darn sight better than the claptrap we were treated to lastnight
Ric Flair Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 From TB.. Another opportunity for Milan to show off his sparkling collection of Ethel Austin Suits he has.
Tabou Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Mark my words... MEGSON IS GOING NOWHERE. Your all going to be a bunch of dissapointed men/woman/children/students later! I await/hope to be proved wrong. But Realise THIS... Megson was #1 choice last time round. There ISNT going to be any surprise new candidates should he leave. We will just get the number 2 in last months auditions, and is that really what you want? GLENN ROEDER?!?! (or, Glen Oh-Dear, as I prefer ) Playing with font sizes is fun...
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 People liked his quirkiness and his posts on the OS and seemed to ignore his lack of tactical awareness. Since when has that been a requirement to manage Leicester?
Ozwin Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Come on its piss funny, just go along for the ride!It must be far more fun than being a Middlesboro fan or something! I agree, I just have a cold and am feeling a bit miserable. I'd hate to be a Boro fan that's for sure, Leicester is a heaven compared to them. I apologize for my depressionistic views.

If Megson stays his position is almost untenable. However I agree on the manager availability arguament.
