martyn Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I'm just absolutely staggered that a human being with the most highly developed brain of all mammals could ever think there was doubt between choosing Stephen Clemence or Levi Porter. Fulop Chambers Kisnorbo N'Gotty Mattock Kaebi Clemence Weso Ferreira John Hume Is my ideal team right now, simply because I want to see the phantom wingers pull on a Leicester shirt so we can actually see them in a competitive game (not pissing about in the stiffs at Hinckley)
mmarkie Posted 24 October 2007 Author Posted 24 October 2007 As oppose to to ****ing off wingers we're going to **** off the fullbacks instead then.Jesus. English football was built on 4-4-2! I just thought it might work
goal-mangal Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Something like Logan; Maybury/Stearman, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Sheehan; Gradel, Wesolowski, Clemence/Kishishev, Porter/Hayes; John, Hume.
maddog Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Mine would be a 3-4-3 formation:GK:Fulop RCB:N'gotty CB:Mcauley LCB:Kisnorbo RM:Kaebi CM:Wesolowski CM:Clemence© LM:Ferreira RW:Hume ST:John LW:Campbell Subs Henderson Chambers King Cort Fryatt Clemence out and Kenton in and you have a perfect team there
Ultra Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Fulop N'Gotty McAuley Kisnorbo A N Other (The new manager MUST sign a left-back asap) Hume Weso Clemence Sheehan John Campbell Go back to 4-4-2 and stick with it. Playing SIX defenders in any home game (as happened yesterday) should be a sackable offence.
Tevez Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Fulop Maybury N Gotty McAuley Sheehan Gradel Hellings Clemence Mattock Sappleton John Job Done.
SamL Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Fulop N'Gotty Kisnorbo Mcauley Chambers Hume Weso Clemence Sheehan John Campbell Subs: Hendo, Hayes, Fryatt, Mattock, Kenton Out of what we've got thats the best I could muster. Sign a new left back, move chambers to right back, pick 2 out of mcauley, kisnorbo and N'Gotty. Sign 2 wingers

potter3 Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Fulop Chambers Kisnorbo N'Gotty Mattock/Sheehan Hume Weso Clemence Hayes If not him then one of the left backs I guess... Campbell/Fryatt John
lookwhaticando Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Ipswich. I mean... they're good, aren't they?
Harry the Cat Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Fulop N'Gotty Kisnorbo McAuley Sheehan Chambers Wesolowski Clemence Porter John Hume Subs Henderson King Sappleton Stearman Mattock
Mikey Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Something like Logan; Maybury/Stearman, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Sheehan; Gradel, Wesolowski, Clemence/Kishishev, Porter/Hayes; John, Hume.   Fulop?
Ultra Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Ipswich.I mean... they're good, aren't they? Only at home..
AoWW Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Ipswich.I mean... they're good, aren't they? I'm seriously tempted. Only at home.. Fine by me... half an hour up the road compared to 2 1/2+ hours to Leicester. Dunno why I do it to myself, to be honest.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Fulop Sheehan Kisnorbo McAuley J.Chambers Porter Clemence Wesolowski Hume John Campbell Having said that, I haven't seen all of the players in our squad play so I don't know if they'd be better or not. I think if we played with these players we could change to 4-3-3 when attacking plus Chambers and Sheehan could push on and support attacks. Not the greatest fan of Porter but I think Clemence and Wesolowski lack a killer ball and I Porter can produce one. Wesolowski knocks it backwards too often and Clemence sprays some nice passes sideways but I haven't seen many defence splitting passes from him either.
Simon Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Who knows? I would like to see the following given a go though: Fulop Chambers N'Gotty Kisnorbo Sheehan Kaebi Weso Clem Fryatt Deej John Subs: Hendo, McAuley, Ferreira, Hayes, Hume Not sure what the balance would be like, but with Sheehan and Chambers bombing forwards I'd be happy with the perceived lack of width on the left of our midfield so in effect Fryatt would be playing behind the front two. Only question mark would be the lads at the back IMO in terms of pace, but 1 of Chambers/Kaebi/Sheehan are quick enough to provide cover where necessary.
Finn Claw Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Any 11 players who can pass and move, basic but it is what Arsenal are based on...
Milky Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Really unsure at the moment, but maybe: Fulop Chambers Kisnorbo N Gotty Sheehan Kaebi Weso Clemence Djaziri John Hume
Mickyblueeyes Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Believe me if Kaebi and Ferrera were the answers - when they're not injured - they'd have been used by now. They are not. The best wide right players at our club are Max Gradel and Ashley Chambers. If I played 5-3-2 I'd have Stearman in central defence for his speed and mobility. Chambers would revert to his proper position at right back. Wesolowski, King and Clemence/Porter would form the midfield. Hume and Cort would be up front. However, with this squad I'd really prefer 4-3-3 because we need more help up front. Something like: Fulop; Chambers, Stearman, Kisnorbo, Sheehan; Wesolowski, King, Clemence/Porter Hammond/Gradel/A.Chambers, Cort/John, Hume/Cambell Are you serious? What speed and mobility? If he had either of those two attributes it would make him a decent wing back which we all know he isnt!
Thracian Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Are you serious? What speed and mobility? If he had either of those two attributes it would make him a decent wing back which we all know he isnt! He doesn't pass well enough for a wing back. But he seems far more omfortable at centre-back where people aren't running at him so much and he can get away with short simple passes. I've seen him do it. Question is whether he'd do it well enough in the Championship. But, for me, good as they are in the air, our present centre-backs are collectively too slow and give the ball away too easily when they've won it. My best team when fit, not counting the long term injured Porter or the potentially long term absentee Gradel: Fulop; Chambers, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, Sheehan; King, Wesolowski, Clemence, Hayes, Hammond/Hume, John. Subs: Stearman, A.Chambers, Fryatt, Campbell, Cort. This gives us what I believe are genuine wing-backs, a passing focul point in King who can move forward or back according need, gives us some much-needed pace in the team and on the bench with Hammond/Hume/Ashley/James Chambers and a genuine left-sided midfielder. We have 6.5 potential scorers and would be reasonably hardworking and reasonably quick when we've lost the ball.
Raj Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 I sometimes wish when my Grandad(God rest his soul) came to these shores in the 60's that he had settled in London Town. That way i could have had my pick of London clubs to chose from. However being the twat that i am,i would have probably picked Leyton Orient.
