Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Exactly mate and i bet that if you did a list on here mate i would think most of the stuff you listen to is shit so... What!? You have a problem with Sonique?
James. Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 Well mate, i listen to anything except Rock and all the Heavy Metal shit. This is the music that i listen to: Oasis Arctic Monkeys Neyo Sean Kingston The Killers 50 Cent Justin Timberlake Timbaland Nelly Furtado The Twang Hard-Fi The Game R Kelly Ray Quinn N'Sync Nelly PCD Rhianna Chris Brown Craig David Kano James Morrison Jay Z Kanye West Paolo Nutini The Klaxons Kasabian. Like i said in my previous post each to there own. So when you said "people should listen to real music" you were clearly being ironic.
Boycie Posted 30 October 2007 Author Posted 30 October 2007 So when you said "people should listen to real music" you were clearly being ironic. Mate it is up to me what i listen to, so if you dont even like Chris Brown why are you even on this thread. Seems to me like you are on this thread just to cause trouble.

Seems to me like you are on this thread just to cause trouble. I was reflecting on the lack of "real music" (or what I would term "real music") in your list as opposed to belittling your personal taste. Of course it's up to you who you listen to, I would never begrudge you that. The reason I'm on this thread is out of curiosity. I've never heard of Chris Brown and am always interested in investigating new music. That said I've probably read enough of this to suggest I wouldn't like him. Oh well.

You're entitled to your own opinions, as am I. I'm sorry if I annoyed you, but alot of my friends listen to similar stuff, and I can't stand it.

The thing is, the music that a certain person listens to, to them will be real music. I'm no music buff, but i know enough to know that there are many music legends who do stuff that i don't like, but just because i don't like them doesn't make them any less of a legend.
Samilktray Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Just got his new album: Exclusive Really enjoyable album, not really got anything groundbreaking as such but it is a really well done album
Bryn Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Not feeling either of the songs mentioned in here but I can see him going pretty far. Needs more of an edge I think, the song's are a bit bland and lacking a hook.
Trumpet Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 "Gets Better and better" Like the song, Things can only get betterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Tommeh Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 With you is the new excuse me miss. Been listening to it non stop for 2 months and havn't tired of it, great song.
Samilktray Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 With you is the new excuse me miss.Been listening to it non stop for 2 months and havn't tired of it, great song. Jay-Z ?
Koke Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 Gimme That is the only song I've really liked. The remix with Wayne isn't too bad either. All his other tracks are decent. I quite like Chris Brown, he has a lot of potential.
Koke Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 Chris Brown is god, but surely ' Excuse Me Miss ' is the best tune of his? It's a great pulling song. Gimme That is better I reckon
Koke Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Boy got ****ing talent. He needs to utilize his talent more.
Samilktray Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Boy got ****ing talent. He needs to utilize his talent more. His best feature yet was on the new Nas album.
lildave3 Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Begun to like him alot over the last month or two.
Koke Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 His best feature yet was on the new Nas album. I agree. He was good on there. But Nas would overshadow anyone on that track with his immense rhymes.
Joe. Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 I quite like him, one of the few pop r&b artists I actually enjony listening to.
Daggers Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 The thing is, the music that a certain person listens to, to them will be real music. The thing is, invariably people talking about music know piss all about it - they can't read music, they can't play instruments and they have no understanding about the history of music. They don't appreciate the wide spread of genres (I'll wager they know jack about classical from whence all this came) but stay stuck in a rigid niche based around culture and style rather than a knowledge of the art itself.
Floating Fox Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Surpringsly I don't mind him, after seriosuly disliking him. Forever and With you are tunes to be fair. He's still Ugly though !
