Tabou Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 And for all of us who are not lucky enough to be able to go to Colchester, where is everyone planning to watch the game? My two options at the moment are the New Road and Pump & Tap. Does anybody have a preference? Where would you say is going to be best? Watched sc*nthorpe at New Road, not a great deal of atmposphere. Also, I think, for those who watch it in the Pubs, should wear their FT name badges, so I/We can see who is who! haha
adam Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 Im going to Litten tree. Usually a good atmosphere and big a screen. Blue army

But are they showing it? The New Road was shite. Full of tigers fans having a beer before the rugby was on (Cup final). I want to watch the match, in a cheery enviroment, where they go nuts if we score, is £1.25 a pint, free bar nuts etc... ***Dreams on***
Dr The Singh Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 Pump and Tap is not bad, there's also The Gateway, near the hospital, also r code on narborough road!!!
Tabou Posted 2 November 2007 Author Posted 2 November 2007 Singh, thanks for your advice. However, given as how I simply cannot take the gamble in making a call as to where to go...I'll let you do it. So, WHERE SHALL I WATCH IT?!

The People's Hero Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 My mate's house. He's not actually going to be there either. Sorted. I'll be watching this at a hotel in Kent, before hosting a dinner dance for around 100 people for the benefit of my charity. Just had to get that in... it's the one time I'm missing football for a reason other than being broke/not in the mood to watch Elvis Hammond making a complete tit of himself, LCFC, Leicester and anyone who's ever been there.
