When Milan took over i for one was looking forward to good times ahead but all we are seeing is the same s##t as the last 3 or 4 years, and the only way we will get out of this league is by going down. Surely this club is big enough to attract a good manager who can attract good players because apart from Hume, Clemence and Fulop all we have is average or crap players any injuries or suspensions and we are screwed. It costs me around £50 every time i go and thats not including a few beers and food, and for what? Its like watching paint dry at times.Stearman, Cort, Newton, all a waste of space, how Stearman has got in the u-21 squad is beyond me perhaps they need a bucket and sponge man. I just want to see us in the top half of the table not to much to ask for a club this size is it? So come on Milan get someone in who can sort these c###ts out because i'm fed up of watching this f#####g s##t. This is probably a pointless post but its made one p####d off fan feel a lot f#####g better! :@

Some may argue there is a social aspect to going to watch football

There certainly is. But you can be social without paying out £300-£400 on a season ticket or £26 on a match ticket. I enjoyed going down the City for years, win, lose or draw, but during the last couple of seasons it's hard to maintain the interest...it's just boring and our crapness predictable beyond words. I wouldn't be so arsed about the results if there was some EXCITEMENT happening on some level.

I think the best we can hope for at the moment is a dog running onto the pitch

You make such a valid point. It was three years ago I started watching the Reserves and Academy matches as well as the first team and the sad thing is that I honestly enjoy the lesser games more than the first team.

Yes the Academy wins as often as not but the reserves lose lots of games. But each time I watch two teams who are continuously trying to score goals and trying the play the game as it should be played - with a bit of ambition.

There's been all sorts of scores, a 4-3 win against Walsall, a 6-1 defeat to West Brom, a hatfull of goals against Wolves, painful defeat at Stoke after missing an open goal and a penalty in the first five minutes...

The thing is, with the lesser teams there's incident galore, lots of points of interest, plenty to gossip about.

With the first team, if we score we sit on it and try to stop the opposition scoring. If we don't we just bounce our half-hearted attacks off the massed ranks of the opposition and wish we'd put on an extra sweater.

None of our managers seems to go out with the attitude "I'm in the entertainment business. I'll fill those stands and I'll make those fans not want to go home."

It can be done. I knew a team once. They drew a cup final 1-1. Were they pissed off. You've never seen such miserable and bewildered faces.

The replay came quickly and the teamtalk was simple. "You drew because the opposition were fit, strong and organised. They competed bravely and countered our two-touch football. The response is simple. Play one touch."

Ten minutes into the game "one touch" were 4-0 up. The goals were to die for including three first time vollies from the edge of the box. The game finished 6-0 and that team completed two years without a single defeat.

That's a true story and it boiled down to attitude.

It was not about drawing a game and thinking the opposition were so good that if you took the lead in the replay you had to hang on.

It was about thinking the opposition were good and if they ever got out of their own half they might be lucky enough to show it again. To this day I wish I had a video of that game.

How right you are.

I have been a season ticket holder for years, unfortunately did not bargain on seeing the absolute pile of shiite that was dished up on Saturday.

Fully expected when Milan took over that we would finally be going places.

Eeeer yeeees, DOWN at this rate.

It's time to get someone in who will kick arse and either get the (dare I say it) players (doh) perform, or kick them out and get ones who will.

Just a thought, maybe it would've been a good idea if Milan invited some of us pissed off fans into the dressing room at half time.

We could vent our fury at the useless shower, maybe then they may have realised exactly what it means to us to see them play with no pride or passion. :@

So come on Milan, sort it out now.

G**y M****n tried that trick in his Forest days. It didn't work.

Most footballers don't give a monkey's about anything other than their salary cheque.
