Guest Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I would prefer to see goat's cheese and sunblushed tomato tartlets on offer, but I shaln't hold my breath.

James. Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Now THIS is a proper thread. I reckon Cornish Pasties would go down well. They could be called something original like "The Holloway". Yes, I like that actually, I feel a campaign coming on...

Yes, I like that actually, I feel a campaign coming on... You my friend have clearly never tasted the Cornish pasteys at Leicester. Once you've tasted, you'll realise nothing from Plymouth comes close.

Bernie's Love Child Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 The chicken balti pie's at villa were very nice - the filling was more creamy than the ones we get at the walkers. one may suggest that the villa pie was a curry pie and not a balti - balti's by nature being less creamy in consistency. may i make the suggestion that we keep the chicken balti pie but replace it with the filling available at villa.....
lookwhaticando Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 ooh, yes please. They don't come microwaveable.
AoWW Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 They don't come microwaveable. Well, they bloody well should.
Phlashman Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 A friend of mine writes for the plymouth pie of the year blog: http://www.pieoftheyear.blogspot.com/ They have a league table of pies, last year we finished 19th, obviously down to our natural anti-ginsters stance. This year I think we might getting a lower score considering they are still mardy about Holloway.
