Seating at Home Games?

Hello all...

I am heading to the UK in just under a week and am gearing up for our home clash against Charlton. Just wondering where the best place would be to sit (regarding atmosphere etc) during the game. I am coming from Australia and have never been to Walkers...any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm really not sure how the ticketing works so I'd love to find out before I depart.

Best bet is to STAY AWAY PAL!!!! :D:giggle::santa:

But to be serious....its probably The Kop

I'd say L1 as it is by far the best place to sit...but its for Season Ticket holders ONLY!...we are very exclusive in L1 you see! :cool::unsure:

I hope you wont be coming expecting to much from the match day atmosphere at The Walkers. Been as L1 is season tickets only, your best bet would probably be the Kop, towards the back. Sections F1 to D2 probably your best bet.

You should come into the family stand with me. The noise is deafening, the opposition cannot cope with the raucous atmosphere from the North Stand...............................

N Block is OK right at the back. No atmosphere anywhere else though, except some annoying kid behind you signing (high-pitchedly) you're not singing any more to celebrating burnley fans after the goal. Annoying.

In terms of best atmosphere, I would say L1 but seeing as its s-ticket only go to the kop. :thumbup:

I think allowing anyone to sit in N Block and L1 would help, making it s-ticket only helps no-one. That means the numbers will never increase if we're playing well, they will only decrease when we dont.

I think we should start a poll about whether we should start a petition to move the Kop to where the Family Stand is.

the ONLY thing that needs to happen for us is to WIN a couple of games!!!

at home the first season at the walkers had some amazing atmospheres when the stadium was actually shaking BUT as we have only won about 6 games at home since then it's all doom and gloom

IF we start to win and then believe we can win games the atmosphere will come

If you don't want to take part in making the atmosphere yourself, then the best place to sit is the West Stand, as it's about the only area you can hear both the Kop & L1 (which is part of the problem)
