lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Walkers is consistently sarcastic, moody, petulant, offensive and rude. People don't dislike him because he hasn't ever been to a game, they dislike him because he doesn't present himself on here as a likable person. It's alright him playing the internet-bullying (haha, whatever), sympathy card now that his aggressors can be perceived to have taken it "too far" - but why doesn't he take a look at his attitude in posting since joining and look to try and be less of a dick if he wants to make friends? And if he doesn't want to make friends, might I dare to ask why he's on an internet community forum in the first place? I personally thought the Walkers to Wolves thing was amusing. I'm also confident in the decency of Dave (Fez), James (TPH) and Alex (Kokopops) as human beings and if Walkers swallowed his pride, took it all as a bit of fun and turned up at the Wolves game with a sheepish grin and took a bit of banter on the chin, they'd be all too happy to keep him company at the ground. I suggest, to some of the bigger moaners on here, you turn up to Vicky Park on the 26th/27th (if it goes ahead) and just come and meet a few people. Because behind the keyboards, they're all just fairly sound lads and I think if people toned down the e-dramaz they'd realise that a bit.

I wanted to write something very similar but you've done it better than I could have. And I'll hopefully be there at that match and I'd happily shake EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU by the hand because there's more to life than all this serious bullshit.

Zingari Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 100% Agree with that post. 100% is taking it a bit far
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 100% is taking it a bit far Err...how? If that is, then 'agree with every word' from JTB is a bit far?
Zingari Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Err...how? If that is, then 'agree with every word' from JTB is a bit far? a wee joke , re the theme of the thread

I could add to that but I don't want to be seen as a bully or anything like that.
Nath Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 He's blamed me in his little speach thing... All i said was he shouldnt knock players when he hasn't seen them play. That was in reply to him saying something about him not one to knock players or something. He needs to take stuff on his chin and stop being a baby.
Hullfox Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 I saw it as being nothing other than well meant humour. There is no way that Pops or Fez can be accused of being bullies. Sorry if it upset you Walkers but I think you've read it wrong.
Webbo Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Walkers is consistently sarcastic, moody, petulant, offensive and rude. Pot, kettle? I don't know anyone on here personally, not even Walkers I can only judge people on what they post. This was the post thaty annoyed me the most; were you crying while typing that? If the 1982 bit of your name is your birthdate don't you think you're a bit old to pick on school boys? I'd hardly call it bullying. Seriously. What would you call it?
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 What would you call it? Not bullying that's for sure. Was it bullying then whenever DB11 got stick? Or Joeb before him?
danny. Posted 28 December 2007 Author Posted 28 December 2007 If the 1982 bit of your name is your birthdate don't you think you're a bit old to pick on school boys? sense. humour. of. gone. where. knows. who?
Finnegan Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Pot, kettle? Yeah, totally. But the fact I have friends on here and he doesn't speaks volumes. I'm not meaning to get arrogant and narcissistic but I'm clearly doing something right where he's failing. And I can tell you what that is, when people throw my own abuse back in my face - I can take it with a bit of humour and get on, not get grumpier and start moaning.
Nath Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Walkers takes things all out of porportion. Wolves campaign for instance, was a well humoured campaign to help him watch Leicester for the first time. He doesn't take it that way, and see's it as us picking on him... If anything he is bringing all this on himself, the "you've never been to a game" crap, because he isn't actually making an effort to go. And when people attempt to help, Walkers doesn't want to know, and takes it offensively and goes on a tantrum. Just ignore him, because it is attention he wants.
Koke Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 I think everybody should just relax and have a coke and a smile. I don't think Fez and TPH and everybody else meant any harm in the Wolves campaign. It was good fun, and if I was Walkers' I would just take it to the chin and laugh it off as well. Come along to to Vicky on the 26th/27th and you'll realize most people on here are good fun loving lads.
Unabomber Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 I know I haven't posted that much, so sorry for my ignorance but is there a specific reason why he hasn't gone to a Leicester City game?
potter3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 I know I haven't posted that much, so sorry for my ignorance but is there a specific reason why he hasn't gone to a Leicester City game? Because he lives in/near Birmingham. That's why people wanted him to go to Wolves, as it's close
Unabomber Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Because he lives in/near Birmingham. That's why people wanted him to go to Wolves, as it's close Well why not go to the games around Birmingham, Like as you say Wolves?
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Well why not go to the games around Birmingham, Like as you say Wolves? Apparently he has nobody to go with.
The Stig Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Just because you've never been to a football game, or a Leicester game in this instance, that shouldn't stop you being a fan of said team. I used to be, but not so much in the last 5 years or so, a Man U fan. Living in Leicester it was very difficult to get to games, but it really annoyed me when people said I wasn't a fan. I'm not saying anyone on here is accusing Walkers of not being a fan, I just want to state my opinion on this.
Unabomber Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Apparently he has nobody to go with. Oh right then, I guess that makes a certain amount of sense.
WetFlannel Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Apparently he has nobody to go with. Well i could understand that...
syston_fox Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Oh right then, I guess that makes a certain amount of sense. I used to go to games on my own. You get to know people after a while though
Finnegan Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Mmhhh, my point was and is very much that, if Walkers wanted to - he could have gone with Fez and co'. Who are, away from their keyboards, pretty normal, everyday chaps. I've met them all once - at the last 11-a-side, but I'd have no qualms going to a game with them. In fact, when I get myself sorted financially, I hope to hit the road and hope to be getting to away games with Alex and Fez asap.
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Well i could understand that... Well if it wasn't for this forum, I wouldn't go to anywhere near as many matches as I do. Surely there's someone on this whole forum he could go with.
