Joe. Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 What's he said? It's like they don't think this stuff will get relayed back to England
Kilworthfox Posted 2 January 2008 Author Posted 2 January 2008 What's he said? It's like they don't think this stuff will get relayed back to England He said that the 2 clubs had agreed a fee of £12 mil and that he could not say more until at the press conference, just heard gartside say he has had no discussions and that he is going nowhere, he is in the side tonight and they they are looking to buy. If he was to go it would be for more that the figure mentioned. Its just how NA thinks that gets me, as you say like no one will find out! If i was the gaffer i would fine him if he were not sooooo good.
MC Prussian Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/breves2008/..._174227Dev.html The article's supposed to come out tomorrow - the online issue already offers a preview. He says something along the lines of "The presidents (club owners?) are currently in talks and I hope this deal comes through as soon as possible. I still think I can make it in the Champions League." And his agent: "Nicolas is looking for a club that fits his on the same level as his footballing talent."
Webbo Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 What's he said? It's like they don't think this stuff will get relayed back to England Tbf Anelka's always been a self obsessed gob shite.

Jack Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Good player but he'll be on the bench all the time after the African nations.
Joe. Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Good player but he'll be on the bench all the time after the African nations. Hmmm not sure. I reckon he'd get a place somewhere in the team, ahead of Kalou perhaps who still seems to play whenever Drogba does. Even though Chelsea mainly only play with one forward I think he'll get his chances.
Koke Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Good player but he'll be on the bench all the time after the African nations. If he goes to Chelsea, Anelka will play regardless. He'll be by far the best finisher Chelsea have and Grant will/should do anything to accomodate him. Even it means Sheva is permanently a bench warmer. Anelka - Drogba = Deadly combination.

I said that purely basing it on that Chelsea normally like to play with just the one up front and Drogba would never get dropped.
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 although he sulks a lot i think he is class to be honest!! i wouldnt want to see him go chelsea though!! united would be a better move if they were to show interest!!

Alexikokopops Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Anelka and Kalou are different players entirely. I should hope so. Chelsea would have serious problems registering them both if that weren't the case.
lildave3 Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I should hope so.Chelsea would have serious problems registering them both if that weren't the case. Sexist.
purpleronnie Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 I'm sure if he moved to chelsea he would then want to move to man utd and then arsenal and then real madrid etc etc...
Bert Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 £15m? The amount of transfer fee's this guy has racked up is unbelievable.
MC Prussian Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Ridiculous transfer fee and I wish this twat all the worst with Chelski.
Ric Flair Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I'm sorry, but £15 million for Anelka is great business. Even if he doesn't settle at Chelsea they would re-coup most of that cash anyway. Great signing for them IMO.

Anelka is the player who has been transfered for the most collective amount of money in history now, taking over Veron.

It certainly is good business for Bolton who once paid 8million pounds for him and now are getting almost 100% extra money in return on that investment! Thing is - who's supposed to bang in the goals for the Wanderers, now that their sole striker's gone? "Lama" Diouf? Could be that Bolton's already preparing for a Championship spot next season...
Tevez Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Will piss all over teams for Chelsea in my opinion.
