He enjoyed a spending spree that all Premier Clubs now enjoy. Things are so different now. I think he is a terrible manager for walking away too quickly when the sh it hits the fan. But I wish him luck and hope he sticks at the job this time. I bet Sir Alex is thinking up his first verbal assult already.

If it starts going wrong, they will turn on him and then he will become "another victim of the toon" What then? Does he lose his "Legend Tag" I really hope it works out for him... but at the moment i doubt it!!

The team he assembled at Newcastle, and which so nearly took the title, represented all that football should be. What on earth Newcastle were ever doing appointing someone like Allardyce knowing the fans preferred style of football I don't know. Yes, they were premature sacking him having given him the job and the talk about Mark Hughes was not much different in concept either. It's not that either are bad manager's - they've both done great in difficult circumstances. But neither have showed themselves to be all about excitement. They're professionals. They're all about playing the averages and not giving anything away. Just what the likes of Bolton and Blackburn want because that's probably the only way they'll survive at that level. But Keegan couldn't be like that. Keegan is ex-Shankly. And I hope he hasn't forgotten that. The Geordies will be downing the "Brown" by the barrel load. Good luck Kev.

I'm I, I, I've kept really quiet, but I'll tell you something: he went down in my estimation when he said that - we have not resorted to that. But I'll tell ya - you can tell him now, he'll be watching it - we're still fighting for this title, and he's got to go to Middlesbrough and get something, and... and I'll tell you honestly, I will love it if we beat them - LOVE IT!.
