Tommy G Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 that's interesting, how is he better than Big Sam?! typical Newcastle, panic appointment
Babylon Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Geordie goons, not got a bloody clue have they.
lildave3 Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Never expected this. He seemed so adamant he wasn't going to return to management...
James. Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 F**king hell. Keegan and Shearer dream team. Now at least if it all goes tits up the fans will only have themselves to blame. This is what they wanted now they should accept the consequences. Will be very interesting to see how it pans out.
Jack Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Didn't expect this, thought it was just talk. Will Shearer play any roll in this
Bellend Sebastian Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 I hope it won't end in tears for Keegan's sake, he seems like a nice man, but I'm sure it's not just me that thinks this is destined for disaster
Mark Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Good for football that Keegan is back, some of the best matches I've watched have been with Keegan at the helm at Newcastle.
Steven Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 I hope it won't end in tears for Keegan's sake, he seems like a nice man, but I'm sure it's not just me that thinks this is destined for disaster A certain ex-player for Newcastle is already sharpening his knives.
Master Fox Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Whatever you do........ Don't tell Daggers. He'll be most upset by this.
Uncle Albert Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Good appointment I thinks! Get some pride back into the club!
Ric Flair Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Old Mike Ashley has gone with his heart instead of his head. It will be interesting to see what happens, but getting 50,000 fans instantly on your side will help things unlike what Souness and Roeder had to put up with during their time there. I'm pleased Keegan is back in football, but this is a ludicrous decision IMO.
Bezzanator89 Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Not the man to take Newcastle forward in the Premier League. That's another appointment mistake. Could have took a bit more time to choose a decent manager but I think they panicked because of the 6-0 trouncing last week vs Manchester United.
MikeyT Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 I'm not convinced. Ive never really rated him as a manager!
Master Fox Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 How i'd love it if Shearer went there as well, only to get them relegated.
Staf Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 He did brilliant at Newcastle before but i cant see him doing well second time around big mistake imo
Rt Hon Percy Longprong Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Good appointment I thinks! Get some pride back into the club! "I'll love it if we ----------------------------------!!!!!!" I'll give him 3 months ONE LAST PAYDAY !!!!
Simi Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 "I'll love it if we ----------------------------------!!!!!!"I'll give him 3 months ONE LAST PAYDAY !!!! Why did you change account?
lookwhaticando Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Why did you change account? Funny you should ask, as not ten minutes ago I received a PM asking exactly the same question. You've been rumbled, mate, and it's not just the ------------------------------------------------------- that gave it away ------ !
