It was defo 2 , finners got 1 and i thought lff got 1 ?

Yeah it was only 2. Tom was moaning about his "clearly" offside goal.

Sparky for ther over 21's, thought his reading of the game was very good.

And probably Jamie for us, with Tommeh a close 2nd.

EDIT - Oh, and I demand to know who voted for me lol

Should have been 4 - 4 at half time. Don't get me wrong, we were clearly the lesser team. And I think Alex probably robbed you of a goal in the first half, too. But I'm pretty sure we had LFF and Tom both put 1 on 1 and flagged incorrectly offside. I guess you just have to accept dubious officiating is going to happen in these games, and being a linesman is harder than it looks. ;)

But other than that, Tom hit the post, yeah. And his shot/cross gave Karl his goal.

I am incapable of giving any match ratings as it was all a blur for me!!

There were a few good uns on the pitch...even WE had a few good decent players... :)

Id say our MOM was either Tomassi,Finners,Sparky or our big LB(syston(?)

For U21 the 2 midfielders(ONE who lamped me in the face!!) or Berty

NO one played badly( ) so big up to all involved in the playing and spectating,(Daggers..that tree is now DEAD!!!)

Seeing as no bugger is posting ratings for us old gits:

Mablo 8 - Loses a point for being beaten twice at his near post but gains it back with interest for winning the toss at the start and lighting up at half time! True pro!!

Syston fox ? - No idea how I played... didnt feel comfortable at right back but think I did ok alongside sparky in the second half at the centre back.

Sparky 8 - Saved us a few times and one of our better players.

Hullfox 7 - shame he had to go off but a quality 20 minute appearance before hand and his comments from the sidelines had us in stitches - in a conversation about the U21s wearing gloves he points out that only Manwell is wearing them for our team but may as well not have bothered lol

Rowlettes Fox 7 - Quiet first half but did well in goal

Fez 6 - a few nice runs and a brilliant cameo as linesman in the second half

TPH 6 - Spent more time on the floor than on the ball ;)

Durnerz 6 - Didn't seem to have a chance to get the ball down and pass it due to crowded midfield. Impressive touches in the warm up though!

Scowy 7 - A vital part of the famous offside trap in the second half!

Tomassi 7 - Some very neat touches and had the young uns worried when he got the ball down and ran. Unlucky not to have at least one goal.

Finners 7 - Charged forward at times and scored a contendor for goal of the match.

SUBS:

LFF 6 - Didnt see much of him but took his goal well and gets a bonus point for the hat!

Hillsdonator 7 - Hard tackling attacking left back in the second half.

Karim 8 - Some very neat touches, got the ball under control well and passed it with style - contendor for MOTM

Raj 9 - As soon as he introuduced himself as "Big Gibbo" when he arrived, you knew he would be the main man of the team. Played a solid performance in midfield, sweated more than the other players put together and had haribo for half time - legend!!!

The Singh 8 - Solid performace at right back - held the back line together well during the counter attacks.

I actually played far better this time but just haven't got the fitness to track back enough when I get forward and I'm just not used to playing on pitches like that. It was so heavy, my calves are killing me today.

The Under-21s had far more running in the team and we did **** all second half really. That's not to take anything away from their skill on the ball, which is on the whole pretty excellent. Was particularly impressed with Bert's performance considering he hasn't played since the last FT game.

For us, Sparky and The Singh were excellent at the back and our front two looked dangerous when we managed to get the ball to them in the first half. Other than that, pretty mediocre I think everyone would agree. We were getting overrun in midfield for which I take my share of the responsibility!!

:o

You do realize the only thing I was good at was putting the nets up and putting them down again lol

I thought you and Sparky and The Singh did a good job at the back, but obviously the U21 were far better than us. And Hullfox was good until he had to come off unfortunately. Our midfield was our major weakness obviously, we had no engine whatsoever.

Raj was a class on his own I must say. :D

You did it with such majestic ease though!

Everyone in the U21's were pretty awesome to be honest! :D

Special mentions to Maybes, Ruddle, LD3, and Bert who in my opinion stood out as being solid, pacey and skillful.

As for my performance. Kicking- Oh dear :giggle: Mind you, the wind didn't help.

Didn't have an awful lot to do really :whistle:lol. Most of my game consisted of posing for the camera.

Who voted for me? lol

I can only think of one save, a catch under pressure, and a punch from a corner that I did all game lol

A save you made in the first half when I think it was 2-1 was brilliant.

Move over Wilkes :whistle::P

Awww I've got one sympathy vote. Thanks whoever :D

My vote goes to Micky for us and maybe the Singh, Tomassi or Rowlatt's in goal who I thought did a sound job.
