lildave3 Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 It came off his shin pad.I reckon he ment it. I reckon DJ should get the goal, just for trying to steal it.

I noticed him weaseling about at the far post last night on Central Soccer night actually, the little poaching weasel. Trying to replicate his stunning goals against Palace (away) and Watford no doubt.

Daggers Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 That's lovely - you can see him about to take it with his right into the bottom left corner but it hits his left shin before he knows anything about it.
allard7 Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Hayles mind and feet will only get faster . .. . or is it slower ? hmmm

Daggers Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Dave, has your Xbox broken.Towls can save it. No. It's a Phube thing.
Jonezy Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Speroni had looked class all game. The one and only way to get the ball past him was this way, and Barry knew..... Of course he knew...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 All you need to know is that it was the best shinner against Palace since the 1996 play-off finals! Sooooper, sooooper Steve! Sooooper, sooooper Steve! Sooooper, sooooper Steve! Sooooooper Stevieeeee Claaaaridge! As Piper would say, he swazzed it!
Koke Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 We are well overdue some good luck. Next game in the 89th minute the ball will bounce off Baz's arse and into the goal. And he'll forever be a hero.
MC Prussian Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 Legendary goal - scoring without even the slightest intention to do so.
Jordan Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Hayles may not have played the ball the way he intended to, but I believe he willed the looping deflection over Speroni and into the net using his telekinetic powers. He meant it to be, and it was.
