BoneDog Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 The Inkless Metal Pen is quite good. Inkless Pen It will definitely come in handy when all the Bic and Biro factories have been destroyed in the apocolypse. It will save time by not having to scrape messages onto peices of bark with a stone. I'm also quite a fan of the spray-on clobber!
BoneDog Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Who's going to make you a pencil after the apocolypse though? It'll take a few thousand years for the factories to be up and running again. I suppose you could stock up on loads of pencils but they will take up valuable space in your survival pack, whereas a never ending pen will only take up a couple of square inches. Mind you, I'm not sure where I'd find the paper to make use of my never ending pen.
Finnegan Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 What's this? You've gained weight!? I actually 'd.

lavrentis Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 The 'cup', just think where we'd be without it, spilling fluids all over the place.
The Padster Posted 4 October 2010 Posted 4 October 2010 close thread. game over. Woah, not so fast. Who only wants to dip there teabag in a cup for 20 seconds ? And then keep having to reset the thing? Poor design. Fail.
stripeyfox Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Concorde. British/French built this marvellous machine which the Americans could not. Because of the failure of their own supersonic aircraft they then did whatever they could to prevent Concorde becoming a success (by prohibiting it from overflying most US airspace). The subsequent retiring of the fleet must be one of the biggest technological backward steps ever made.
Alexikokopops Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 I agree - bring back the Concorde. "Nor would the US team be quaking at the news that Jose Maria Olazabal spent most of the journey in Concorde's aisle trying to break the world-record length for a single putt, eventually beating Brad Faxon's 8.5 miles with one of 9.232 miles; the ball took 26.17sec to cover the 150ft of the cabin and drop. Far more pertinent is the fact that the Spaniard cannot hit a fairway with his driver." http://www.guardian.co.uk/ryder/Story/0,,202376,00.html
