Clemance to Captincy and Place

Agreed, but there's no way he'll be anywhere other than the starting line up unless he's injured.

Such a frustrating player because he has shown glimpses of the player he is/can be but on a no-way near consistent enough basis.

I just dont get it. Why do good players come to Leicester and then they turn below par even thou they have proven themselves at other clubs. Its just a mystery

Ollie drop him or ill drop you! lol

We should stick Andy King in, rareley spectacular (25 yard drive aside, which I suppose makes him more spectacular than most of our players) but actually does the basics of football quite well. Him and Oakley, two genuinley attacking players, we might score some goals.

And you've only been a mod for a day or so. Heap powerful medicine. :D

Who would go on the bench then? Clemence or Weso?

It's very hard to justify a place for Clemence in the first team at the minute, especially after his performance last night which was dismal - he failed to find the right man on too many occasions and was responsible for a lot of our moves breaking down. I really can't think of many downside risks to replacing him with King.

Clemence may well have been a good captain for Birmingham but there is a massive difference between being a good captain for a winning side and being a good captain for a side struggling like hell to stay in a division.

Clemence probabley. People keep harping on about Weso but thats only because he's not been in the team, I wasn't really impressed with him when he was playing.

I think we definately need a change. He has been knowhere near convincing all season and his performances explain why Birmingham were so happy to let him go

as is with my back tracking about hume playing on the wing i think that i am doing some backtracking over clemence.

i rated him. i thought he looked a positive influence over the midfield when he first came. fair enough he has had injuries and i think it is important to remember this to be fair to him however, recently, and even in the past, his ball control has been appalling and 1st touch.

when our midfield is put under pressure clemence cant play and be that positive influence because he is loosing the ball.

with time and space (like vs cov) he looked good with oakley.

despite being similar-ish with oakley(meaning they like to be involved) i think oakley can step it up against better teams.

we need the two proper wingers playing in their correct position not hayles or hume on the wing. i think clemence can benefit from this. as we know, having players playing out of position all season in midfield hasnt helped him either

Clemence is over rated!!! Last night he was pathetic, McAuley/Kisborbo make better captains leading from the back.

At half time yesterday I was thinking to myself that the player who would make the most difference as a substitute would be Wesolowski but he was never going to get on the pitch.

Clemence and Oakley don't work together, a championship midfield needs a player who is quick in the tackle, can win the ball quickly and effortlessly and play short snappy passes.

Shame he's just so injury prone.

I'd be down with giving Andy King a go again, I've been impressed whenever he's played.

As for the people saying Weso should be captain? Ha. He's never fit for one and not a leader at all.

Ollie just tell clemence he is shit then stick the bald eagle on his mush!!

lol

All in all, I say stick King in i reckon it would give Clem a right kick up the ass.

What was wrong with King?

Where's he disappeared to?

Just seems to have disappeared i agree!! lol

Sure i seen him on the checkout in morrisons??

ah... the decline of a footballer ay.

I guess we support a communist club...and King's plaudits for the Southampton goal were not distributed evenly throughout the team. :dunno:

Seems he's been 'taken care of', never to be seen again

oh shut up, did Bostock (a rookie) playing cause Palace to stay in the bottom 3? oh no the went on a 15 game unbeaten run and are now very much in the play off hunt and Brum had infinitely more quality then we have, also it's not like they have missed him, we are playing shit, how much worse could we be with either Wesolowski or King in there instead of the overrated disinterested Clemence?

They didnt make him ****ing captain though did they?! And you're saying Bostock is the reason they went on that run? lol lol lol

Perhaps we should drop him, it might give him a kick up the arse, but to replace him with someone who is just simply injury prone, or a player in King who has looked as bad, if not worse than Clemence in the few games he's played (one speculative goal aside), is madness. And to suggest we make one of them captain, is just laughable.

have I suggested making Wesolowski or King captain? and he played a large part in them going on that run, he was the catalyst

maybe if people like you stopped tossing Clemence off he'd pull his finger out and actually remember he's a professional footballer

The 2 players i wanted to drop ages ago...

Hume, Clemence.

I also wanted Fryatt out, it feels like years ago, i wish we had sold him to Wolves in the summer.

Bollocks Jimmy, he has'nt played a league game since November, he's played zero part in their run, you dont know what the **** you're talking about.

And yes, im sure Clemence reads this forum, has read my posts and thought, bollocks, i'll carry on playing shit. Well done.

Clemance is the the new Gaz Williams. Big signing, great passer and half a million.

Been shocking this season and i really am starting to hate him like i did Williams.

Get rid or drop.
