Head Honcho Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Holloway should be on the phone tomorrow to Sir Alex asking him about loaning us Nani
Matt Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 I notice no-one's (Aimed at the press) talking about Zsolt's "showboating" towards the end against Norwich yesterday doing his step-overs in the corner, fair enough it wasn't to the extent or quality of Nani, but it was still showboating, and still rubbing Norwich's faces in it. But because it was Arsenal = Fuk of Arsenal, Grow up, Stop throwing your toys out the pram.
Joe. Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Made me laugh. There's nothing wrong with it, Arsenal are just sore losers
lee7 Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Regardless of how entertaining it is, it is kind of disrespectful. i don't see how it's disrespectful . it's like saying doing a step over and taking someone on is disrespectful because you have made the player look silly.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 I wonder, if we were to go 4-0 down at Cov next weekend and Mifsud started juggling the ball in his own half, how many of you would be screaming for Steve Howard to chop him in half.
MikeyT Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 I'm fed up of hearing about it. Every time i turn the tv on today its been on the news. Who gives a crap!! I dont see what all the bloody fuss is about!
Tomassi Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 For Nani to show off that sorta skill in a high intensity game is just boundering on World Class. But unfortunately he looks like Michael Jackson out of the Thriller Video OWWWW
MikeyT Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 For Nani to show off that sorta skill in a high intensity game is just boundering on World Class. But unfortunately he looks like Michael Jackson out of the Thriller Video OWWWW Why? All he did was a few kick ups!!

RowlattsFox Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 As a defender myself, I wouldnt have liked the opposition showboating infront of me and I would probably took my anger out on the player with a strong tackle. There is nothing wrong with it but i can understand why it would piss some of the players off though, although Arsenal took it too far.
accessory Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 I wonder, if we were to go 4-0 down at Cov next weekend and Mifsud started juggling the ball in his own half, how many of you would be screaming for Steve Howard to chop him in half. Like Mifsud, or any other Cov player, could ever reach that skill level...
Raj Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Nani=quality. THATS what football is about. That and City 4 Norwich 0 and Lpool 1 Barnsley 2 Although i can understand the folk of Arsenal being pissed off with him for humiliating them....still...shit happens.
Darkzzz_ Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Could have been worse From about 1:30 onwards. Thats class.... But what concerns me is how massive that trophy is... That could cause some serious injury!!!
lee7 Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Could have been worse From about 1:30 onwards. the player who attacked the player that had done the skill was a ****ing coward attacking him from behind then running away. i think some of the players took it a bit over the top attacking him because he was showboating.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Do they have nothing else to talk about? Think you've hit the nail on the head mate: Same stories repeated every hour - transfer window closed - off course Sky Sports have nothing better to talk about!
MPH Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Yesterday, for those who didn't watch the Man Utd vs Arsenal game, Nani when United were 4-0 up began to balance the ball on his head and then play a spot of keepy-uppy on the run towards his own goal before spinning his marker and earning a throw in. I cannot believe on Sky Sports News when I flicked it on this morning they have Glenn 'the twat' Hoddle on whinging about how you should only do it if theres an end product and David 'shit spouter' Platt asked on his opinion of it, why is it even the topic of discussion? Is this not what we as fans go to watch? You see how much the game has died when you hear 'debates' like this, theres nothing to debate about IMO. Thoughts?
