Anyone know how he's doing with his injury? Think I remember hearing he'll be out for the rest of the season (?), but I think he'd be very useful to have around at the moment. He may not be the most motivated of players, but at least he tries to play positive football, isn't afraid to take people on, has a bit of pace and scores a few goals. All qualities that we've been lacking on the wing for quite some time. I know people were slating him earlier in 2007, but I feel that at least he makes things happen, and is a reasonably exciting player.

I suppose that's all irrelevant if he is still injured, but just wanted to find out how he is really.

I can only presume he's still injured. He hasn't been near our first team since Chelsea and hasn't played for the reserves either.

Lets hope he gets back to full fitness soon.

Out for the season according to one of his team mates.

It would be nice if the club got somebody on the medical staff to post a blog or something similar about the progress of all our injured players

You know what?

I'm looking forward to having him back if I'm honest. I like Levi and think he's a handy little player at times. The trouble is with him is his consistency.

He needs a kick up the arse but I think he can be a good player for us.

True. If Holloway can get Stearman performing consistantly sorting Levi out should be easy. Assuming he's still here.

Shame that he got injured when he did really. I thought he made the difference against Chelsea, direct approach, his ball for Campbell was one of the best passes I've seen from a City player in recent times.

It's a long way back for him, but he's a young lad and I'm sure he's determined to make a good go at pre-season.

But it also means that the injury may have an affect on his further career :/

But at the same time, if he was older it would be pretty much the end of his career.

He's got some good years ahead of him, whether it be in this division or lower leagues.

I guess so but if he was older then he would have earnt his money but if he was to retire early then his life could well be ruined, not just his career. It wouldn't exactly be the end of the world for a 32 year old but for a 21 year old who has put everything into football and not concentrated much on education is going to struggle after retiring early.

I think Levi is a good player at this level. He isn't afraid to take players on, he puts in good crosses\balls (against Leeds and and Chelsea come to mind). Last year I thought he was one of our best players.

Pre-season is a big pre-season for him.

Get fit soon Levi!

Levi will be a good player for us next season IF our manager plays him in his correct position and not out wide !

Assuming he mends okay I'd agree. Grossly under-rated by some even now.

Got to say i think he would be doing a better job that our current left side.

I'm still yet to be convinced that a 5'2' lightweight midget can dominate the center midfield.

Always believed he was/is better on the wing.

I spoke to him before the Plymouth game, he said he'd be back for pre-season

He's keeping himself in shape while he's out - he was holding 3 packets of pickled onion space raiders when I spoke to him.
