I'm really pleased for all you travelling fans.

You've had a pretty miserable time of it since November and this must have been a welcome relief.

Walshie talked about it being a genuine turning point.

Do you or anyone else agree?

Walshie always talks about a good result being the ****ing turning point.

I wish he'd shut his noise and let them get on with it, rather than raising the expectation levels higher than what they already are (ridiculous, there are still probably people who think we can get in the play offs).

I've had a brilliant day - very nearly ended up in Nottingham though as I passed out on the train. Woke up when someone bumped my foot as they were getting off at New Street.

Great result this, specially as we leapfrog Covscum, Southampton and Sheff Yoo.

Looking at the table, if Preston win their next game and Covscum don't, and then Sheff Wed beat Covscum in the game in hand, Covscum will be in the relegation zone. :scarf:

>_< Ask me in 5 games time. I love Walshie as a player, but I get the impression that commentating might not be his bag, from what a few people have said.

Nice to see us get a win, away, and deserve it. We may have invited some pressure late on, but we were never under any real pressure. Anyone who wanted Hasselbank here, well shame on you! The retired chant was funny - I didn't imagine that one, did I, although it could be the wine distorting the memory...

I love terracing.

Preston's next game is us isn't it?

To be fair, if we can transfer decent to good home form into decent away form, we'll quite quickly climb the table. It could well be a turning point. I doubt it, but he's in the media now, it's his job to hype things up.

Yeah me too i though even though there was 900ish fans there yesterday the atmosphere was brilliant and i think the terracing helped!

Just a shame we have to go through 2 or 3 months of dross for each complete day like that!

Also a shame, is how surprisingly people's spelling of "esk" is.

quality day out - can i also thank Ched for rugby tackleing me when we scored lol

Fantastic day, not just the match.

Fantastic FoxesTalk gathering on the terrace combined with a train ride full of 'em as well!

Any news on the pictures?

As for the match it was nice to see quite an industrial performance that paid off. Hendrie seemed to fit in well with a good range of passing and he found himself some promising positions.

DJ caused a lot of problems for there defenders and they never seemed certain, although he should have scored at least one which would have done his confidence no end of good.

Super. Build on this please.

Thats my biggest concern. Essentially we're exactly where we were before the game, albeit with 3 more points. I don't think that game represented a reason for celebration any more than gloominess. If we looked sharp, good, but we still didn't put the ball in the net and that remains our biggest problem this season.

Of course if people get back and tell me there was a shitload of "bad luck" and we played them off the field, I'll be slightly happier. :D

although, one could argue that, psychologically, breaking that mental block about not being able to get a result away from home is (or should be) significant.

given the quality in the team, it seems that the poor performances are more about confidence than talent, they seem ok at home, maybe now they'll feel more comfortable away... it's another step in the right direction - 3 more points, and a mental boost, i would say that constitutes an advance on several levels...

We made it in QOTW on BBC

"Barry Hayles is bigger than this, he's got a door and a window, Barry Hayles is bigger than this."

Leicester fans smirk at how small Ninian Park is during their 1-0 win over Cardiff. (Alex, England).
