Webbo Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 No Change. The only possible change is McAuley for N'Gotty. Does Ollie think that 2 games in 4 days is too much for someone of N'gotty's age?
SamL Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 No Change. Seconded. Mcauley may benefit from having an extra rest then playing against Bristol City.
Flynny Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Seconded. Mcauley may benefit from having an extra rest then playing against Bristol City. Or we might benefit by having a better player in our back 4.
Legend_in_blue Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Or we might benefit by having a better player in our back 4. I'd play the one who can pass a ball better. N'gotty then hands down.
Tilley Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Henderson Stearman Kisnorbo N'Gotty/McAuley (Depends how fit N'Gotty is) Clapham Hume Oakley Clemence Hendrie Howard Campbell
Messi Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 no change hendo had a descent game yesterday everytime they put the ball accroos i was expecting him to bundle it but he surprised me. if any change then it would be McAuley for Bruno
Staf Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 I agree same team as yesterday never change a winning team.
Jimmy Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 unless we sign a top quality keeper on loan then I wouldn't change the team
The Stig Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 unless we sign a top quality keeper on loan then I wouldn't change the team Same for me.
Mort Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 unless we sign a top quality keeper on loan then I wouldn't change the team Agree... although I'd like to see Lazkco or Bori on the bench if we need some pace on the wing.
Jimmy Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Agree... although I'd like to see Lazkco or Bori on the bench if we need some pace on the wing. as would I but Ollie seems to like 2 defenders and 2 strikers leaving Weso, Laczko and Bori all competing for the last bench spot
Joe. Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Same as Cardiff for me but I still wouldn't hesitate to bring McAuley back in. But keeping Bruno would still be good enough for me. Other than that it should be as you were.
Muz Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 I'd stick with the same thats relying on Bruno not being frigged, but if he is then McAuley straight in.
Rich Fox Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 I think Mcauley should not be recalled as hes over rated and gets turned by anyone with pace, i know bruno is older but would prefer an unchanged side.
Simi Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 No change for me. It was time for McAuley to be dropped in my opinion and Bruno did nothing wrong really.
syston_fox Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 No change for me.It was time for McAuley to be dropped in my opinion and Bruno did nothing wrong really. It might just be me but with McAuley not present on the pitch, it seemed to make Howard the main target at corners which nearly paid off in the first half. Might just have been poor Cardiff defending but he made more space for himself than McAuley ever seems too
David Guiza Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Hendo (unless we are to sign a decent loan keeper ) Stearman Kisnorbo N'Gotty Clapham Hume Oakley Clemence Hendrie Howard Campbell Subs Mcauley Wesoloski Fryatt Barry Chambers
clazkel Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 It was a great win against Cardiff and i think the team done well, but i would still like afew changes in the team, as it doesn't always work -------------------Henderson------------- Stearman-------N'Gotty------Kisnorbo----Clapham Hendrie-----Clemence-------Oakley-----Mattock ------------------Hume-------DJ--------------- I think we have a strong midfield who can play the ball through to feet, don't need to bother about long ball for Howard to knock on. Would like to see Fryatt up front with Hume but i know this wont happen. If things don't go our way then bring Howard on. Subs: Fryatt, Wesolowski, McAuley, Howard, Zsolts
MikeyT Posted 2 March 2008 Posted 2 March 2008 Yep cant see any changes to the line up. I'm a big fan of Mcauley but N'Gotty should remain in the teams starting 11 in my opinion.

You'd be surprised how good Hume is in the air. He never gets penalised when he jumps or at least very rarely, whereas Howard does.
