Leicfox Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 Just had a bowl of Corn flakes with ice cold milk (mega when you've not had them in ages) to tide me over till Sunday roast is ready.
Rincewind Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 Had some microwave porrige this morning. It overflowed Not used to doing it. Got a microwave chicken dinner to do. Not a very big portion so will have a tin of soup as well. With bread.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 Not really... but it makes you think. Heston Blumenthal (crazy tv chef) makes Egg and Bacon Ice Cream
Haydos Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 Grilled chicken and mushroom with broccoli. I want fish and chips dammit!
FoxesAreBlue Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 A plate of sausages and I burnt my hand on the grill doing them - there really isn't anything a cant cook without cocking it up somewhere
Rincewind Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 A quick look on twitter to catch up with the 100 tweets since I've been reading Foxestalk posts then sorting food out. Started to eat later in the day to stop me being hungry later on. I can just about survive on biscuits and cheese sarnies during the day or a late breakfast.
sphericalfox Posted 5 February 2012 Posted 5 February 2012 Not what I am eating now, but earlier I ventured for GBK for lunch. What an expensive disappointment. Twice cooked chips? Re-fried/reheated chips that are still not cooked more like it. Somehow they managed to both overcook, and undercook the burger! I went with the basic cheese burger to before I thought I might go for one of the fancy ones at a later date. This I won't be bothering with in the future.
The Doctor Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Fried Egg, Haggis and Black pudding sandwiches.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Blue-army-andy's recipe from heaven. 1) Get a pack of Oreos. 2) Bang them in a blender. 3) Blend. 4)Get the resulting Oreo dust and chuck it in a bowl. Done - yes it just Oreo but by god it's ****ing good like that
Leicfox Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 2 potato waffles topped with 2 square sausages, topped with 2 poached eggs.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 I'm also an advocate of the potato waffle/fishfinger sandwich which some bright spark posted on here a few weeks ago!
Reynard Bleu Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Just had wonderful home-made scone with clotted cream and rasberry jam.
Raw Dykes Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 I think there's something magic about sausage, beans and chips. Haven't had it for a while, but I never get tired of it. I'm definitely not one of those weird people who won't eat vegetables, and I love a curry, a Chinese or an Italian, etc., but I could eat that same meal about 5 times a day every day and never get bored of it.

Yes, yes, yes... Every now and again I crave that or fish fingers/burgers chips and beans, but only have it a couple or 3 times a year. A blast from the past kiddy meal...
FoxesAreBlue Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Asda's cheap version of a Magnum Ice Lolly Sweet Jesus its good

Webbo Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 I've just tried White Pudding for the first time. It's just another name for sausage.
