acooling08 Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 i hate this song but it gives a message that you lot should listen too about ollie
Zingari Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 He is going to get sacked isn't he!! I personally don't think anybody will save us now.... we are all but doomed.... The players think they are too good to go down, they do not deserve to be playing for our club.....Ballbags!! big Sam will save us
teblin Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 I'm not sure about sacking him or not but have a look at the following its not good reading. Win percentage whilst at leicester: Micky Adams 36.93% Peter taylor 35 % Gary Megson 33.33% David Pleat 32.02 % Rob Kelly 32.81% Craig Levein 27.7% Ian Holloway 25% the Stats might speakefor themselves.
Messi Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 ollie dosent even take things serious...after that loss we are in relegation and he starts talking about eating biscuits when he was younger i do like ollie but he aint the right man for the job...in my opinion if we would have stayed with Martin Allen then we wouldnt be in this situation, i think he would have bought belief and confidence to the team. hopefully, we stay up, sack ollie, get the right man for the job, players that want to play for this club and who will fight to wear the shirt, offload some of the shite we have now and have a good season for the whole of Leicester!!!
Wycombe Fox Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 I don't want to hear from Ollie again until after the Stoke game. I'm sick of the jokes, the excuses, the media appearances, the columns etc etc etc. Please just get on with managing our club and forget the rest. None of us are laughing at the quips, one liners and jokes are we? I'm finding nothing funny about anything to do with Leicester City. Unless we beat Colchester, S****horpe and Sheff Wed at the very least, then we're going down 100%. Make a joke out of that Ollie!

''i am usually the one telling my wife to go down but now look what has gone and happened, i am the one goin down and this way of goin down isnt very exciting hahaha'' Ollie on leicester's relegation from the championship
volpeazzurro Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 He more than likely will...''i am usually the one telling my wife to go down but now look what has gone and happened, i am the one goin down and this way of goin down isnt very exciting hahaha'' Ollie on leicester's relegation from the championship Absolutely time for Ollie to go! I feel many people have been hoodwinked by Ollies pleasant affable manner combined with a wish for some stability after all the other managers. His team selections, tactics and substitutions are poor. Examples: 1. He claims he wants attacking wingers, ok , I'm with him there as we just kept hoofing the ball up the middle whereas more goals come from crosses. Ollie plays one game with Bori and Laszko, we win against Coventry, and thats the last we see of them together. They can't adapt to our game with one or infrequent appearances. Argueably we could have done with some of the ambitious younger players in the squad like Gradel who have been sent out on loan. 2. Hume has been our top scorer for a couple of years so Ollie puts him out of position on the right or left wing and persists with DJ who was a waste of money when we have Hume and Fryatt already. He's too similar to Hume but not half the player. 3. The table shows that we've got one of the best if not the best defence in the division. Therefore we can only assume its the midfield, defence, tactics or motivation that are at fault. The latter two fall fair and square onto Ollies shoulders. His swaping team selections around and playing players out of position doesn't help. 4. Money has been spent whether wisely or not is a matter of opinion. Yet on paper, we have some very decent players compared with many teams above us like Barnsley, Blackpool, Preston etc. Look at top of the table Bristol on Saturday, who has honesty heard of many of their team, yet they are where they are! All down to the manager! He should be sacked now, but who would honestly want to come in? Cheers.
Bojimha Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Holloway can't cut it at the moment......but neither could you, me or anyone else. The club is rotten from the core.
Thracian Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Holloway can't cut it at the moment......but neither could you, me or anyone else. The club is rotten from the core. The first bit's right. Can't say I agree with the other two bits. I see no reason why the rest of the club should be compared to the first team. And I, plus many others, would improve on our current returns. No trouble. Indeed, some managers would think it was Christmas inheriting players such as we've got. Players who made monkeys of the League leaders barely four days ago. Our problems are not about ability. They're about confidence, tactics and using people to the greatest effect.
Tilley Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 I am ready to get slaughtered with what I'm about to say but here goes.. Was last night the night Leicester City got relegated?? Ok people will say I'm being hasty but when the final whistle went & I looked around and the City fans, everyone had League One written all over their faces, there was even a few tears. Ok it is the first time we have dropped into the bottom three but Scunny will be on the same points as us if they win their game in hand, Sheff Wed have two games in hand, Preston are on a 3 game win streak, S'oton will probably do a Preston now they have their first win. Ok maybe Colchester & S****horpe are down but it then boils down to us or Cov. IF we play like we did last night at WBA we will get a spanking ( & we are lucky not to have been beat 4 or 5 nil this season ). Hull are quietly going about their business and we have those at home & then S****horpe. I just think with the lack of confidence, the lack of creativity, the lack of fight & passion, the lack of finishing that maybe just maybe our time has ran out. I will keep believing until its mathatically impossible to stay up but i think maybe the way were playing were down already.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Please Milan. Get rid of this man holloway with exception of taylor / levein he is one of the worst managers the club has had [ the stats prove that ] with the looks of things he his going to re-write citys history books and take us down into the old 2nd division. I suggest you do like you did last year go and get a caretaker manager until the end of the season my idea would be somebody like VENABLES he would come if the dosh was right. Then sort our club out from top to bottom in the summer to many there on the gravy train IMO. I did not go last last night but my 2 sons did and they reckoned HOWARD was the worst man on the park. Ps Milan. If you read this,Try and persuade WALSHY to go and get his coaching badges for the future instead of bumming around with john barber

Dear Mr Thracian Thank you for expressing an interest in the (expected) vacancy of manager of Leicester City . We do however have a number of other candidates to consider who may be better qualified . So with that in mind we feel duty bound to inform you that at this time we will not be giving your application further consideration, but wish you well in your search . Milan Mandaric
Monk Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 I hear Franz Carr's been spotted in Morrisons with Steve Corica?
lcfc_jme Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 COME ON CARDIFF GO INTO ADMINISTRATION! Pathetic. I don't understand how any football fan could wish administration on another club, especially given our history and what we've been through. I'll credit this post as being a knee-jerk reaction in the heat of the moment, and I'll add that you didn't think before you posted it. But no doubt you'll go on to prove that I'm the deluded, too-trusting and naive Leicester fan I so evidently am. If we can't get the points required to stay in this league based on results after strengthening our squad, and we stay in this division on a technicality, we'll be delaying the inevitable for a year. It's just common sense. Common sense and rational thinking.
Moreton Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Im here, sitting at school shitting myself rite about now. Im so scared. The thought of League 1. What has happend to us?
Wozski Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Im here, sitting at school shitting myself rite about now. Im so scared. The thought of League 1. What has happend to us? The youth of today eh!! Get some work done!! ................actually............ I'm sitting here at work thinking exactly the same! Bit de-motivated today. We've struggled to score goals all season. Against Bristol it was awful. We looked a brilliant side but couldn't finish. Its so blimmin frustrating. Against Preston we - I'm not sure of the stats - but we seemed to have all the possession but couldn't break them down and didn't create a fat lot. I think Ollie has the makings of a good side from Goalkeeper up to midlfield, but I definately believe we need a left winger, and two goal scoring forwards. The lad from Man City looks a good asset. Howard gives the impression he's lazy and not bothered, but chasing down defenders (Paul Dickov) style isn't his bag. He was brought in to get on the end of crosses. I knid've understand his frustration, due to the lack of / and poor quality crosses. He probably given up! DJ just doesn't have it. Fryatt is a good finisher but to slow. Hume is committed but just not good enough. Lackzo looks out of his depth. I don't know what to ay thats already been said. Everyone knows this, but they'll probably go a stick 3 past WBA on Sat!!!
Messi Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 I don't know what to ay thats already been said. Everyone knows this, but they'll probably go a stick 3 past WBA on Sat!!! with abit of looking but would even put £1 on it

lcfc_jme Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Fcuk that jamie.I want atleast Cardiff,Colchester and Scunnie to go into admin!!!!! But you're a massive twat, so that's to be expected of you!!
filbertway Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 League 1 would be fairly awesome though, namely old crappy grounds and cheaper tickets, means more opportunity for drinking and singing and attending
Wozski Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 And standing on terraces!!!! Hurrah!!! Role on League One!!! It'll be just like the good old days!!
Filberts lovechild Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 I've pretty much accepted our league 1 status. Very funny when you consider the Mercury saying 8 days ago that we could be safe by now seriously what a load of shite they print sometimes! Only hope we have is the following, we have 4 home games we need to win, S****horpe, Colchester, Shef Weds and Hull. If we can win those and draw our away games we are in with a chance. This is why I predict Holloways sacking after the S****horpe game! We're shite. League 1 may be good for us to improve our confidence get some results etc. My only concern here is our finances, don't think Milan would want to invest so much money next term!
Uncle Albert Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 League 1 here we come! Will be a good wake up call though for certain players. Cant wait for Yeovil on a cold Tuesday night!

The championship in general is shite, not just us. The football is terrible. These so called professionals are being paid thousands a week to hoof the ball down the pitch with little creativity or vision. Seriously. Almost all teams in this division do that. Surely the standard of football in league one cannot be any worse? Haven't Bristol proved that this season by getting themselves at the top having been in this league 1 crap last season? All you need are two tubs of lard at the back, and a tub of lard up front, hoof it, sorted. And someone who can put a ball in well from dead ball situations. MM shouldn't need to invest any money next season - but that depends on how much of the rubbish we decide to keep - first out in my opinion should be Clemence. Inspirational? Clearly not. Get rid.
Leicester Lass Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Last night was when it finally hit me. I fully expect us to be relegated now, just got to try and come to terms with it
