Something on ITV 2 which is Mary Poppinish without the music so far. Nanny is hired to look after a widowers seven children who turns out to be a witch. This one has warts and a crooked nose though.

Perhaps the poeple who put themselves up for that are not as bright as they imagine.

I doubt the masses watch the Crystal Maze anyway, which i did not realise was back on after all these years :xmasunsure:

I watched Fort Boyard recently. Just as stupid but at least there's soom eye-candy on that.

NYE TotP I had forgotten how bad music had become over the past few years. Can't say that there has been any act where I have thought 'Now that is different and a good sound.' I must be getting old.

Just about to watch Charlie Brooker's 2012 Wipe on BBC2. Should be good.

What about "waste of money"?

I've found it hard to swallow the wasted expense on fireworks throughout countries asking their citizens to accept deep cuts and austerity measures.

20 mins of pure escapism, and I believe funding was a combination of sponsorship, Olympic money, and GLC funds set aside for this at the end of the Olympic year.
