Manwell Pablo Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 I used to be a bakers assistant back in me mid teens, I used to crack 40 eggs every Friday, got quite a few double yokers in that time.

My grandfather had a smallholding and he kept chickens many of which gave him double yolkers.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Like Manwell said, double yolks aren't really that rare. Can't imagine why a double yolk would put you off, but if you REALLY want to be put off eating eggs, just think of them as ovulations - or in layman speak periods... cos that's essentially what they are Heaven forbid that anyone should invent tampax for chickens!
A fox for life Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Have to say if I found 2 yolks that would put me off eating it. Its weird. i can't believe i know this fact but the yolk isn't the bird!! its the white! the yellow bit is the food it feeds on in the egg. common mistake. (note to self: must get out more)
