Simi Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Jon Mackens wife. Come and get your dinner. When you get into the ground at 1:30 and you're still chanting at 5:30 you know it's been a good day. Awesome stuff. I'll comment more tomorrow, time to get slashed.
SamL Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Quality day. We needed a Preston-esque day and we got it. Cracking goal celebrations and quality atmosphere. Loved it.
Daggers Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Quality day. We needed a Preston-esque day and we got it. Cracking goal celebrations and quality atmosphere. Loved it. Today was so, so, SO much better than Preston.
Koke Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 My heart was in my stomach. I don't think I can handle going to the Stoke game, if our Championship status is on the line. When Bruno gave that free kick away I was pissing in my pants like a 5 year old. My heart was beating at such an alarming rate. Yes, I'm a pussy. I know.
lildave3 Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Yeah.

izzetafox? Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 What a day! Without a doubt the best pre during and post match atmosphere in years! We took over the metradome, then took over there ground singing from start to finish, i love ring of fire cant stop singing it now, i love iain hume and most of all i love bazza hayles! All in all a top quality day out which has restored my faith in football and lcfc, beat wednesday next week and were safe! Ollie's army! Oh and other special mentions to weso who i thought had a good one and kisbo! Best of all though the fans!
Staf Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Get in quality result well done to the boys now please get something against sheff wed ans we can all enjoy the Stoke game
Joe. Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 You should have been where we were! Now that was a celebration.
lildave3 Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 You should have been where we were! Now that was a celebration. For the goal, I only went back a row () and 6 along. HOW!?! I'd love someone to film me when we score a big goal, I don't know how I do it.
Scow Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Barnsley certainly had their chances, nail-biting stuff. We weren't particularly good, but we were resolute and dogged. The fans were terrific and I think it made the difference. The players were nervous, though instead of getting on their backs, the constant support spurred them on and you can see how much it meant to them. Special mention to Bazza - I thought he was superb. I can see why Ollie has so much faith in this guy.
JoeyB Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 You should have been where we were! Now that was a celebration. Got that was awsome, . You about broke your back falling backwards over a chair BARRY BARRY HAYLES, BARRY BARRY HAYLES
James. Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'd also like to say that there are few stranger sights in football than seeing Lee Jobber bounding towards you wearing a swimming cap and goggles.
Bryn Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'm so relieved ... had to go and pick someone up from the station. Come home and Hume's scored!!Also - just seen the championship form table ... it may not feel like it, but look where we are when it matters! http://www.fansfocus.com/football/champion...uide.php?comp=2 I've noticed this as well.. it might have felt bad recently and people have been on Ollie's back but we've clawed our way up to roughly a win every 2 games now. Seems like it was a great atmosphere today - who said midtable obscurity was better than a pulsating relegation battle
He's not bald Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I've noticed this as well.. it might have felt bad recently and people have been on Ollie's back but we've clawed our way up to roughly a win every 2 games now.Seems like it was a great atmosphere today - who said midtable obscurity was better than a pulsating relegation battle Hate to put a damper on what was a fantastic day out but we still need a win at the Walkers to be safe and we don't do "back to backs!"
James. Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Hate to put a damper on what was a fantastic day out but we still need a win at the Walkers to be safe and we don't do "back to backs!" 2 draws, sparing a Sheffield Wednesday goal orgy, should be enough...
Master Fox Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'd also like to say that there are few stranger sights in football than seeing Lee Jobber bounding towards you wearing a swimming cap and goggles. lol You lucky so & so.
Phlashman Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 So glad we won. Hopefully it means I can get some work done next week rather than staring at the table thinking about all the possible outcomes.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Just Brilliant, theres not much more that can be said.
Lillehamring Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Get your scarf, get your voice, go crazy. who did we steal that off just need to have more scarves, now! and what is the chant in the background, sounds like 'de-fence, de-fence...'
