FleckneyFox Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 i thought 1 point against Wednesday would keep us up not so sure.
The Reverend Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I bet we'd win too but we shouldn't kid ourselves.Humey pulled a rabbit from the hat and has now earned us four vital points in two matches. But we really didn't crate much, Barnsley hit the woodwork twice and went very close on several occasions so, considering Hendrie may well be missing, we really do have to keep our heads down and focused. At lest now though there are a few clubs who look as deep in the proverbial as we do and being outside the bottom three reads a loody sight better than being in it. I've mentioned Southampton's vulnerability before. My middle son is a Saints fan and sees no real hope for them. Sheffield Wednesday would surely have had their confidence knocked by today's defeat at Blackpool and tired old Barnsley won't be resting easy either. Surely we owe Wednesday one for last season whacking at the Walkers. Next Saturday would be the most timely occasion for payback. Here fooking here
00rawat Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Can someone drag up that shit thread about Hume please "The blah blah global something ineptitude blah blah etc..". This is why the fans fooking love him. The little beauty scores. yeh that's why we love him all ways scoring goals for us that's ten now.
Ozwin Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'm thinking of going next Saturday. But whenever I've been this season we've lost so I don't want to jinx us >_>
FleckneyFox Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'm thinking of going next Saturday. But whenever I've been this season we've lost so I don't want to jinx us >_> DONT GO!
Jack Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'm thinking of going next Saturday. But whenever I've been this season we've lost so I don't want to jinx us >_> Oh god, stay at home please
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 DONT GO! my little brothers been 3 times this season and we've won em all, anyone up for roughing his bosses up so he can get the day off work
Legend_in_blue Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 We did what we needed to do in the last two games in reverse - but we still got our 4 points from the two games. Now we need 7 from 9 - sorted. Finish the season at home on an absolute high and win. COME ON!!! Take it to the opposition. We can do it. Hammer them and send them down.
Ozwin Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Whenever I've gone they've been probably the worst performances aswell. Plymouth and Hull especially. >_> God, they were dire.
Guest shearfox Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 we need two points from two games to be safe, as our goal difference should be better than Wednesday's come the end of the season.
STUHILL Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Just bought my Sheff Wednesday Ticket!!!! Great result today, rather lucky I thought but how we needed it by any means. Hoping we finish season off on a high with 2 back to back wins!!! Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeee!! Well done boys!
Foxy1984 Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 It's quiet on here!!!! Everyone disappeared to celebrate? Vital result. Can't wait for next week. Massive, massive game!
Legend_in_blue Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 we need two points from two games to be safe, as our goal difference should be better than Wednesday's come the end of the season. We need to go into our final home game of the season with a WIN THIS AND THAT'S IT attitude. Draws won't help us. In fact, draws help Sheff Wed, not us. They'll probably quite fancy going into their final home game of the season still in touching distance with Norwich at home. No, we need to take the initiative for a change and FINISH IT. The biggest home game of the last 4 seasons is next week. I'm lovin' it. Just bring it!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 we need two points from two games to be safe, as our goal difference should be better than Wednesday's come the end of the season. Fcuk Weds !!! Let's hope Southampton go down.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 The biggest home game of the last 4 seasons is next week. I'm lovin' it. Just bring it! Not allowed to say that on here mate !! Ollie got slated for saying that you see! But, yeah, it is very exciting.
James. Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 On my way home. What a f@cking brilliant result. We really weren't particularly good, very nervous on the ball and the post saved us twice. But who gives a f@ck cos we won. And the fans were absolutely sensational from start to finish. Very impressed with Bell again, I'm sure he's gonna be a great player for us next season. In the championship. COME ON LEICESTER!
Candidcamera Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Hume is the difference. We need a few more like him though.
FleckneyFox Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Yeah saints to go down. West Brom will beat them to secure promotion and they'll do well to beat Sheff utd.
Guest shearfox Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Yeah saints to go down. West Brom will beat them to secure promotion and they'll do well to beat Sheff utd. They have west brom and sheff united man they sure are in trouble
luffbra Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'm so relieved ... had to go and pick someone up from the station. Come home and Hume's scored!! Also - just seen the championship form table ... it may not feel like it, but look where we are when it matters! http://www.fansfocus.com/football/champion...uide.php?comp=2
MC Prussian Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 We've won? Against Barnsley? Who would've thought...
Jack Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Nice to see that Stoke are beating Bristol City 2-0. If we don't deliver next week there is hope at Stoke because if they win next week it will be a nothingness game for them because they will be promoted.
Thracian Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Hume is the difference. We need a few more like him though. Hume back up front has certainly helped.
